I was diagnosed with MG 18 months ago. I have Seronegative MG, I do not have the antibodies. Frustrating as I cannot get a thymectomy. I do take Mestinon, but my biggest issue is fatigue.

I may be wrong but this obviously seems to be from smoking, which is known to cause muscular weakness. Nicotine binds to the muscle acetylcholine receptors so the body would downregulate these (or even create auto antibodies) with constant nicotine, leading to weakness. Of course they want to keep selling medication so they don't talk about cause or cure, ie they relate it to anything but actual nicotine.
