Only hard thing was hitting a six... Since boundaries are big there are large gaps between fielders and fielders needed to cover large distances which also means making doubles and triples easily and also more safe to play aerial shots

MrRozer Binny,nice bowling action ,vry effective bowling.We hadn't super express like Donald,Shane bond , Jimmy Anderson but I am happy with our medium fast bowler.Now we have extremely talented MohdShami,Umesh Yadav,he is super express.How I forgot boom boom JASPREET BUMRAH.Fantastic temperament.I love his killer Instinct.

Seeing this tournament makes nostalgic. Very sad too of days gone by. Colour TV was new then. Cricket with colour clothing used to be dramatic. Was in my final year in Engg in 1985 at JNTU, Kakinada. 1983,84,85 redefined Cricket for India. Met Roger Binny personally during the IND v ENG Second Test at Visakhapatnam. Memorable Moment.

It was difficult to get a boundary back then. Looked likebthe grounds are big and ball is not reaching the boundary. I think present day cricket looks very easy, batters hitting sixers and fours so easily. Must appreciate the batters those days.

So, it wasn't obvious to whoever designed the stadium that the boundary made of solid wood isn't a good thing. Players could injure themselves trying to save a boundary. Maybe commonsense isn't so common after all.

Height was an issue with the LBW and edge was 50-50.. in those days Gavaskar used to walk if he was out he was famous for it... so maybe there was no edge as ball didn't deviate at all
