I got to have a fantastic, informative and fun conversation with the amazing John F. Barnes' (Father of Myofascial Release) about what's happening to the fascial system in a yoga practice. And why understanding this key system is so important to healing and overall well being. We talk about both Yin Yoga and Myofascial yoga.
Myofascial Yoga is my baby :) which was inspired by the work of John Barnes. It incorporates long hold yoga poses, unwinding, rebounding and especially a higher conscious awareness which is the key to healing.
