HEADS UP! I'm using the myotome levels found in most textbooks, but you may see some variability depending on the source you're looking at. Just double check that these are the same levels your professor wants you to know, before you cement them into your memory.

Hello, thank you so much for this video, it was very helpful. I would like to point out one thing which is that C5 has Shoulder Abduction but also has Elbow flexion. Thank you so much for the mnemonics.

Yes, this is important to understand as most muscles receive innervation from multiple spinal levels. The biceps receives innervation from C5 to C7, for example. Myotomes, however, (in theory) are assigned to the strongest level of innervation, but there is still some debate about which level is the "strongest." It is very important not to get hung up and think all shoulder abduction comes from C5, etc.
