I'm in 8th grade and I wear makeup. Normally a full face minus eyeliner contour and lipstick. People are always saying "You wear too much makeup" or "Who are you wearing makeup for?" Or "Why do you wear that much makeup?" And if I don't wear makeup one day it's "Are you sick?" Or "What's wrong? What happened?" I hate that girl can't do their makeup because they want to and they think it's fun. There always has to be a reason or someone they are doing it for. Doing my makeup is fun for me. I don't need a reason to do makeup other than the fact that I want to. I'm so tired of no one being satisfied or happy with a girls appearance there is always something they want to change. I like doing my makeup. I'm doing it for me. Not for you or anyone else.

Several people have told me to wear make up so I could look "prettier" or more "appealing" to them and to others or to make me more "feminine." because girls should "ALWAYS" have make up on and be made up. I frankly don't care about their opinion, I've worked hard to clear and take care of my skin so I'm going to flaunt it. I don't care that you don't find my bare face "pretty" I'm not here to appease you but rather myself. I've grown out of most of my insecurities its a struggle to not let ill comments get to you. Always be yourself. I'm a person with extreme ADHD and acne dealing with extreme bulling and it is aweful but you just have to find your friends and trust them. And you need to be that friend as well. And if you are that person I just want to say I'm sorry for whatever happened to make you that way but it will get better and we are here for you because no one is like that on their own so just know you are bueatiful no matter what and that's all you need to know

I am constantly taunted and I am always getting questions about my face. One day a boy said "Wow you have acne? Its like last year you barely had any but now..." After that I went to the restroom and cried. I went back into the classroom, and I think they could tell my expression. I was mad, angry, sad, and embarrassed. I am a very emotional person (Not like the average emotional, but VERY). I will cry at the smallest things. It breaks my heart to know how much disrespect there is in the world. Anyways, once I went in the classroom my face was red, my nose especially, and my eyes were a little pink. I was very sad, and I wanted to hurt myself. But I realized. Im not going to hurt myself because of what they say. I may cry, or get angry, but I will always try to stick up for myself and for others. Honey, you don't need makeup. You're beautiful inside and out. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Trust me, I'm still in high school and I get a lot of crap about wearing more makeup. It's not necessary. I mean, I'm not saying it's a crime to wear makeup if you like it, I completely understand, but more and more girls are being forced to wear makeup that they don't need because they're scared of what other people will think. And because of this I was diagnosed with depression. Last December I started cutting. When ever someone says I'm pretty I automatically say no I'm not. I'm working on it but it is really hard. Most people have been bullied and I honestly wish that things would change. No matter what you do yourself people will find a way to hate it. Thank you so much for posting this. I am a 16 year old with PCOS which means I have a lot of acne. I have had acne since I was in 6th grade and this video helped me to make the decision to not wear makeup when I started Highschool last year. Your video has made such an impact on my life and so many others.
