An acne coverage drugstore full face of first impressions video! Today i'm talking you how to cover acne & my first impressions of some new products I've never tried before - including foundation, concealer & more!
My skin had a huge flare up over the past 2 weeks due to an allergic reaction, nothing to worry about! I'm all good, but that's the reason for my face looking the way it does currently.

Love your channel soo much, I have acne and I find it hard to get a good cheap foundation or concealer that actually works and covers my acne! This helped soo much because I was skeptical about the fresher foundation and now I know it works💖 and all of these products are soo good as well !!! Can't to go and get these!!!

Light coverage foundation or BB cream, and thin coats of a full coverage concealer does the trick! xx

Wow you are so beautiful before and after makeup. I used to love to play with makeup but since my acne has got bad I struggle just to cover it and by then I just can’t be bothered with the rest of it because I feel so bad about myself. People like you give me a feeling like I’m not alone and it helps so much

I love your drugstore makeup videos as I only tend to buy budget makeup! So disappointed with the Max Factor palette - that one isn't cheap so I was expecting better. But at least you found a couple of gems :) x

yeah i'm 25 and its still lingering, though much better than it used to be. APPARENTLY most people clear up by 30 so i'm hoping i will be one of those people! just stay super gentle with your skin, don't throw everything at it like i used to do (i realised it was making the breakout last 50x longer) and don't stress because that definitely makes it worse! just focus on the fact that its only temporary!

likeastarbaby i'm 26 and have had acne since 19. Peak was probably when i was 22-24. It subsided a bit when I turned 25 but still never had a clear face. Decided to go on accutane just 3 mos ago and i just can't believe how liberating it feels not to have bumps anymore. lol.Bottomline is, I don't think waiting for it to go away is the best option. Just try whatever cure there is (of course consult your doctor about the options) ;) All the best!

I just tried out the new foundation 2-1 from essence today and I was actually impressed. It is light enough for my pale skin and covered most of my acne. The only points where it didn't covered much were my "open" spots, my big breakouts but that would need a miracle, not foundation. I also noticed that it is really waterproof and it stays in place all day.

The Brow product looks like it'd be amazing for travel. Such a shame about the palette, I feel like it's pricey for drugstore too! Have you seen the new Bourjois palette? I swatched it in store and it seemed like it'd be really good!

I have the same problem as you for years, I went to the doctor, took pills, bought expensive acne treatment regimen, everything that I can but the acne just didn't go away. Then around 3 months ago, I tried Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask and it works. It dries out the oil factories on my face and I don't moisturize twice a day as I used to as my skin is too oily and can't handle that. I moisturize once a day at night and that's it. Currently it works great for my skin. I don't know if it would also work for you as a fellow acne fighter. I want to share this to you anyway. Thanks and good luck!

This foundation reminds me of the revlon one that comes in similar packaging, which is my favorite drugstore foundation. I can't use Rimmel foundation because they're scented; breaks me out and causes headaches.

I loathe that foundation, I tried so hard to make it work but ended up just throwing it out! It really cakes ut and clings to any texture and dryness, and it sinks into pores like crazy. It also dries super hard, which makes it virtually impossible to blend any other liquidy or cream products on top! Videos like these where you try out products you end up disliking are super helpful though, at least we viewers know not to pick up the disappointing bits =) Looking beautiful as always, Em!

Hi can you tell me how I can cover up a spot where the skin has come off? I used tea tree oil on my spot and now it's burnt the area where I'd put it and the skin is all red. I tried putting makeup on it this morning and it was just disastrous and I got funny looks :( Please help and advise. I've been putting moisturising cream on it to re-hydrate the skin and a bit of aloe vera to ease the redness and to heal the skin.

Hey Em! I just wanted to ask a question - how do you deal with acne? I have had it for 5 years and it keeps getting worse. I am at the point where it kinda hurts to look at myself in the mirror without any makeup but the the same time my mom starts to make bad comments on me wearing full face makeup when I go out.
