MYRTLES PLANTATION - UNBELIEVABLE WHAT WE CAUGHT ON CAMERA!!

Although our Myrtles Plantation ghost hunting video was cut short by bad weather and large crowds, we were able to get some excellent photos of ghosts and shadow figures. We did not get to use the spirit box very much, but we are planning a follow-up visit very soon.

Just stayed there again yesterday. Very very creepy. Stayed in the judge Clark suite first time and second time William winter room. The second time I woke up out of a dead sleep by someone tugging on my arm. I could have sworn it was my daughter but we left her at home. It was freezing cold and was the most bizarre feeling I’ve ever experienced.

Great catch! I believe that last pic is one of the children who died there. They had 2 or 3 kids I believe that all died there. Then there was another child that died there in the late 1860s so yeah the children are some of the most well known spirits there. I have been there many times, back in Nov of 99 I heard the children giggling around 3am while we were telling children riddles and nursery rhymes. Pretty dang freaky. I'll be back there this coming Nov. Cant wait.

I stayed in this home during katrina because my mother was a federal clerk and had perks. I stayed here for 2 weeks in the daughters bedroom. I didnt see a fucking thing except for ghosts running away from me. They said my spirit was harmful. I cant wait to go back.

Nice catch! I became a believer after staying at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs a year or so ago, checked out early. The fire alarm going off at 2:00am was the final straw, I was the only person in the lobby.

Cool! It's a fun visit whether you are ghost hunting or just want to tour it for the history. The restaurant there is very good also. I've been wanting to go back for while now also.

My bf and I just stayed there in the Fannie Williams room. We heard a man scream a blood curdling scream at about 10:30 as we were getting ready for bed. We looked out the window and saw no one. We then went outside and walked around. There was no one out there. It haunts me to this day. I’m wondering if it was the residual screams of William Winter who was shot on the porch. Guests claim to hear the gunshot in the night and his footsteps.

Wow, that's an awesome and very chilling story! It does make sense that it could be the screams of William Winter. I've been several times and I always get a weird feeling, not sure if it's from all the stories I've heard about it or if it's the vibes it gives off.

I wish you good ghost hunting...I know where I live in Canada we have the most haunted hospital but security won't let anyone close to it. It was a TB hospital for Native people and there is a mass grave on the grounds. They have been trying to renovate but it's so haunted the workers leave.

That is also the biggest problem we have, being able to access places and almost anything in our area that has paranormal activity is not abandoned.

My mother went there for her honeymoon..I cant remember what experiences she had but I do remember her saying something about it. I'm gonna ask her and post her story

Visited there a few years ago & had a lot of experiencs.Perfume while sitting on porch,tugging of pants legs while in dining room not once but twice.Nephew became very ill with headache & had to go outside...

I think you picked up the same ghost as me during my stay a little over two years ago. It was picked up in the mirror in the gentleman’s parlor. Look like a top hat with white boot goers and a glass in his hand. I don’t know how to attach the photo.

I don't know the science behind them but if you look up SB-7 spirit box and KII emf detector you can find out how they work.

Me and my mother were DISPLACED HERE during katrina. I stayed in the daughters room up the stairs to the left with the big mirror.... That deck didnt even exist there. Id sneak outside to go smoke cigarettes and walk those grounds when i was 15. You dont know about spirits you lil scary lookin boy. And you best not go back there.
