Short video on how to make Mysore Pak. :)
Ingredients:
Gram Flour (Besan) - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Ghee - 1.5 Cups (Melted)
Water - 1/2 Cup
Recipe:
1. Grease a tray with Ghee and keep aside.
2. Dry roast 1 cup of Gram Flour (Besan) in a pan till it turns golden in colour and aromatic and take it out on a bowl.
3. To that add 1/2 cup of Melted Ghee and mix well without lumps using a whisk.
4. Place a pan on flame and add 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water.
5. Keep stirring on low flame till you get one string consistency sugar syrup.
6. Then add the Besan-Ghee mixture and keep stirring on low flame.
7. Keep adding the remaining ghee for every few seconds once it starts absorbing. Do not add whole ghee at a time. Add little by little till it absorbs.
8. Keep stirring continuously till it starts seperating the pan and forms a thick halwa like mixture with bubbly texture on top.
9. Turn off the flame and add this mixture on top of the grease tray and spread and pat the tray.
10. Allow it to cool for about 30 minutes and then cut into pieces and enjoy!:)

Ghee is not life threatening, if you do workout according to ghee. In haryana we use ghee every day atleast 50 gm per person. But we do exercise workout daily and many physical task. So it's not life threatening for us

Depends on what type of ghee…. A2 cose,Bilona ghee is what we should use not this BS random ghee…However bilona process ghee is like 6000 per kg lol

Take it out a little early and cut it after it dries completely. You'll get the soft Mysore Pak. Takes some practice but you'll get it 😊👍

There are different variations of Mysore Pak. But being a native of Karnataka I can assure you that this recipe is almost closest to the traditional dish of Mysore 😊

What is a halwa consistency?😅 Wish you had explained when to stop cooking better. I tried your recipe and I am now waiting for it to cool. I am afraid it's going to turn out crunchy instead of soft as I didn't know when the halwa consistency begins or ends.

This is Mysore burfi. Mysore pak has two colors, brownish in the middle and lighter on the outside. The texture should have aerated holes. When you skip steps, this is what you get: MYSORE BURFI

First of all there's nothing such as Mysore Burfi. And you only get aerated holes if you use oil and not ghee. Third point, there's a lot of diffuse lighting throwing off. So kindly pause the video when I break the Mysore Pak and see closely, you will be able to see that golden brownish texture in the middle. I totally admire your keen observation and knowledge on the dish. Thank you so much 😊❤️

@@animatorinthekitchenI think the mix was taken out too early before the formation of bubbles. It should have been stirred with more ghee/oil till the mixture could no longer absorb anymore ghee and forced to form bubbles. If the mix is poured into tray in bubbling state, without patting down, you get more noticeable aeration holes. Just a thought from other videos I watched.

This is ghee Mysore Pak which will not have any pores. To get those use oil instead of ghee. Thank you 😊
