Rasam or Tilisaru is a popular dish in Karnataka. One of the most important parts of making saaru is Rasam Powder / Saarina pudi. Different households have different recipes for the same. Here we have Smt. Leelamma showing us one such traditional recipe. Make the powder at home and enjoy the taste of tilisaaru or rasam.
Ingredients
Red chilies 1/4th kilo
Coriander seeds one big glass
Cumin seeds 3/4th glass
Peppercorns 1 1/2 Tbs
Fenugreek seeds 1 tbs
Mustard seeds 1 Tbs
Turmeric pieces
Hing (asafoetida)
Curry leaves 2 handfuls
Oil to roast
ತಿಳಿಸಾರು ಅಥವಾ ರಸಂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ. ಇದನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲು ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಪುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಾರಿನ ಪುಡಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲೀಲಮ್ಮನವರು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಣಸಿನಪುಡಿಯನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಿ ಶುಚಿಯಾದ, ರುಚಿಯಾದ, ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ.

ಅರಿಶಿನ ಕೊಂಬು ಎರಡು
ಕರಿಬೇವು 2 ಹಿಡಿ
ಇಂಗು ರುಚಿಗೆ
ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹುರಿಯಲು
