Uni is useless. Lecturers & tutors literally teach nothing and expect students to understand everything. Then they justify their incompetence & laziness by referring to the so-called "research-based" learning style. Students are in fact paying for the bachelor certificate, not education.

FYI for the beginners taking going through this tutorial, wrt schemas - it's good to be in the habbit of always specifying a schema before the table itself, so that later down the line (for longer and multiple queries) you don't get confused as to what is what (in some cases aliasing isn't enough to aleviate confusion)

Hi, this is truly a fantastic lecture, I had sql classes like 15 years ago during my bachelor studies ;-) forgot everything and now recovered everything! This a super high quality course and a great video. I highly recommend it. Many-many great thank-you-s Mosh it is very informative and extremely well explained, and you have a pleasant voice :-) a nice english easy to unterstand for non natives. Just for info: for those who had issues installing mysql on windows, I had to install first visual studio this was a manual installation required by the wizard. I installed even python, even though Mosh said this is not useful. After several attempts, and considerable time loss, I just installed both at the same time to go faster. After these two installations, it worked perfectly. Certainly, visual studio was the one blocking it all. Best, t

Hey Mosh! So, I'm tinkering around in SSMS and I'm trying to import this JSON file into a table in my database. Here's what I did: I went through Object Explorer, clicked on myDB, then Tasks, and finally Import Data. I selected Flat file as the source. Now, for the delimiters, I'm a bit confused. In the Columns section, there's this row and column delimiter thingy. What should I choose for that? And in the General section, do I need to mess with those settings too? Thanks for your help!
