Saint Emperor sees people can't afford to pay for their heating, NO TAXES. Our politicians see people can't afford their energy costs and want to raise taxes even higher. Gotta tackle that carbon footprint while flying around in their private jets and keeping mutli-million dollar super yachts.

Have you created videos about the Heian period, especially the aesthetics of the court culture? The "Tale of Genji", by Murasaki Shikibu, and "" The Pillowbook of Sei Shonagon" are two works of literature from this era.

And this goober doesn't address that head coning cannot increase capacity of brain. Truly elongated skulls (like some he showed) have a larger brain capacity than any other human. Their head was not stretched or formed. But "science" doesn't like this fact. So it's never discussed and every elongated skull is just that, supposedly some royal bullshit

For those who are wondering why Prince Yamashiro's death was significant, it was because of his father. Yamashiro was Prince Shotoku's son. Soga no Iruka ordered a mass suicide from Prince Shotoku's line, including Yamashiro . Iruka's father, Soga no Emishi, was shocked by his son's actions. The court also was shocked because Prince Shotoku was well liked by the masses. Thus, the court officials, including some Soga, conspire to kill Iruka.

Love your videos of ancient cultures. The Far East and Middle East have not gotten much told of them. The Scythians and other cultures from the Eurasian steppe. Learning more about Asia and the Middle East and Caucasus areas would be great. Finding graves with tall (over 6'3") people with fair skin is mind blowing and makes you think that people migrated all over the lands . I truly enjoy learning and your narrator is fun to listen to..keep giving us these wonderful snippets of the different cultures all over the globe.

The history of the Kuniyoshi shrine is a bit of a mystery as well as a place of extreme controversy. Exactly who built it and it's beginning is of interest to me . What's up with the Kuniyoshi/ Imperial family? Beyond the belief that Imperial family are directly related to The Sun God, why did the soldiers going to battle during world war two exclaim they would meet at Kuniyoshi shrine? Thank you for your Chanel!

You probably already know this but it was the Maori people who invented trench warfare. When the British came to New Zealand and fought against the Maori people, the Maori people would fight effectively from trenches. The British people then adopted this tactic which was heavily used in WW1, and still to this day.

It's cool to watch religion and culture change and morph between the hunter/gatherer groups and the rise of the farming groups. You can literally watch the gods /culture change from forest gods to fertility and sun gods. Crazy that some people still follow some of these gods.

Now I'm not saying Jimmu was a time traveler... buttt if I got stuck back in ancient japan and my name was jimmy and knew nothing about japan besides the fake american/japanese names people joke around about... I'd probably go with Jimmu, then go to the center of japan because they teach historical strat in schools and start an empire. But to be clear, I'm not saying this happened or there's proof in a top secret location.
