I swear, the plot of every HOG game gets even more unhinged every time there's a new one

The dialogue, plot and even animation in these games is so fascinating but in an almost anthropological perspective.

The oddest part of HOGs is every lock has a puzzle to it. Imagine having to solve a puzzle every time you need to unlock the bathroom door

this is the funniest shit I've seen in my life, you've got a dog in a space suit?? the doctor is the most evil guy ever but needs to write notes about where these silly keys are and then he physically punches you out, really decks you in the face, a right hook, and then he gets tasered and then inspirational music starts playing I'm fucking losing it

You know the more outlandish the story gets the more sense the HOG logic of picking up EVERYTHING and throwing it away immediately makes. And who but a mad scientist would have a door that locks with an emblem, etc? 😂

There’s so much about HOGs that baffle the mind but the thing I just cannot get over and refuse to accept is you have a box that can only be opened by TWO separate signet rings and you use it to store a STAPLE REMOVER??? No unplayable I’m sorry refuse to accept

This is like a very realistic depiction of the Professor Layton world where literally everything is a puzzle

I was watching one of your HOGs from like four years ago, and the character at one point had a whole dang AXE in their hands, and spent time searching around a run down manor you'd already ripped the entire front door off of, in order to find a key for the back door. Said back door was wooden, and very old, and probably would have fallen with a stiff kick, let alone THE ENTIRE DARN AXE.

Razors still look like that, you just never see the whole thing inside the disposable blades that come pre-set in the razor handles. You can also buy more old fashioned shaving kits that you replace the blades on yourself that look like that. There are also some for various craft blades that look very similar.

GRIM TALES HELL YES. I lost my mind when I heard Grim Tales because I've played GT The Bride. Thank you for always playing HOGs it makes me so happy because I grew up on these games. So we have a Queen of Spades game and a Queen of Hearts game now please tell me there's a Queen of Clubs and a Queen of Spades game somewhere. I can't speak for anything younger than 2012 but any game from 2012 or older do not have collectables.

Have you tried playing Beacon Pines (release on sep 22)? If you love Scarlet Hollow you're gonna love this game as well! Its a decision based game, has lots of mysteries and CREEPY stuff in the small town, plus it has beautiful art!

The plot of this game is ridiculous. With both the kid and the FBI agent when they changed they lost their minds, too. I just kept thinking about how elite those rich folk who paid for the antidote are going to feel when they have to farm their own food, run their own water treatment plants, and clean their own toilets lol. They did not think this through. 🤣

The razor blade is used in old school double edge shaving using a safety razor. Nowadays most folks use the multi blade cartridge razors. In my opinion, the shave you get is not as good with the cartridges but that is marketing for you.

Some men prefer to use a safety razor over a cartridge as you can get a better shave, it just takes longer. Cartridge razor are more convenient to use and easier to learn. Also Cartridge razors ease some of the psychological tension people have about the blades themselves. Like how looking at a straight razor can give someone serious Sweeney Todd vibes.

Edit: I didn't realise this was published by Big Fish games. (I've been re-watching a lot of Mystery Case Files HOGs lately). So some of what I've said below should probably have taken that into account, and I've edited it slightly. But I'll let most of it stand. I'm surprised to find I hadn't watched this one yet, given how many times I've been though Gabs' HOG playlist. Maybe I've played it in the background or something. But I'd missed an absolute GEM of a playthrough. This is a fairly top-end company for this type of game, right from the start producing some excellent games. They clearly have the budget for top-notch artists and musicians, although usually rather a bit cheesy w.r.t. story and voice acting as they throw them out so quickly. So given how utterly bonkers and hilarious this one is, I can't help wondering if the team were just going a bit off-piste here and effectively parodying the whole genre for a bit of a laugh. But it's actually really hard to tell. Because even the absolute best HOGs out there are usually just so bat-s**t crazy anyway! 😁😁 How do you parody something like that? I'm writing this having not yet finished the play though, because already I'd had more laughs with it than with just about any online content out there. Even stuff dedicated to comedy! And Gabs gleefully pointing-out of how utterly bizarre and improbable this one is (rather than the usual "It's just HOG-logic") adds to the hilarity of the whole thing. I'm rating this as the most entertaining thing I've seen in (at least) months. The best Saturday afternoon in years! 😂🤨😆 ❤❤❤❤

Last week I play "cube escape paradox chapter 1" it take me 35 minutes to beat it 15 minutes it take me the last 2 puzzle's because it force you make many steps so then i see Gab do more steps I have the need to skip the puzzle Don't try to show off, I am saying is interesting that any person have the power to use the brain power in the same way, but she/he doesn't, and this is why we are different from all other animals of this planet
