In this video I show you our collection of fine porcelain teacups and saucers. We have aquired quite a collection now, with some representations from England, Germany, France, Japan, China and one we have made in the USA. I tell you some things that I know about the shapes and sizes. Some of the examples of teacups we have are part of a larger set and some are just singles that we love as individuals all on their own. The demitasse cups from Bavaria belong to some of our cocoa pot collection. You might remember our teapot and chocolate pot videos made a couple months back and the link is below if you are interested. We have many collections, we love to collect and this collection consists of some pieces that were passed down to me through the generations. We have built on this collection over the years to what you see now. Hi ya Jeff this is great I have so many bone china cups and saucers . My first I got when I was 4 in 1962 at my Grandma Florence house my dad's mum . She had a afternoon tea and I was able to go my great aunts and great grandma was sitting at the beautiful table all done out for it . My great aunt Sarah gave me it on one one condition I looked after it . It was a royal Albert I loved it and still do it has pride of place in my cabinet . Along with 5 more aunt left me them I was 10 . And yes that was my start in collecting . My grandmother on mum's side I have cups and saucers that have placed to put biscuits or cake on them . Oh my goodness Karen that is so cute !!! I know I have over 150 cups & saucer sets. Because my place is so small I have had them packed away now for 12 years. I do have pictures of each of them though. Watching you this evening has excited me, now I am going to have to get my grandson over to help me so I can bring them out of storage & unpack all of them. You have some very beautiful sets & I thank you for sharing them. Again thank you very much.

Quite a few times I've had to pause your videos and sometimes even get out of bed to go looking for something that your videos have reminded me about and this video too. I have the most gorgeous cup, sitting on a unmatching saucer. I noticed has a major repair job, can't remember if I glued it back together, probably was, can't imagine I would have bought it otherwise, but yes I have bought repaired items. 🖤💙🖤🙏😇🌈🌞🇦🇺

Your absolutely made my day. I have been a collector of tea cups since I was 16. You brought back memories of me taking the train into the city on Saturday. Just to find a perfect teacup for that day. My favorites. Are a Gold Cup and Saucer and a small demitasse colbat blue with gold pattern. I was able to find. My mother was a seamstress for many years. Her sewing room was in the finished basement of our home. There were built in wall bookcases. Her clients would bring her a tea cup and saucer from their travels. I still after all these years (I am 73), have 18 of her teacups in my family room, I also have eight sets of glorious small China cream and sugars. Packed away I have 10 great demitasse size sets that have my daughters name on the box. My husband's Aunt gifted us two wonderful sets stamped Prussia. Those are in our dining room China cabinet. I have greatly enjoyed taking the relaxful time to watch this video. To me, this is a touch of elegance.

Well it's not storage really ....one needs display shelves ...you can see in my videos .....when we bought this house it was bare.....I built all the shelves in this house .. And you need curio cabinets......some are corner cabinets 👍😎🐝💛🎬

What a wonderful video! Thank you for explaining the difference between footed and pedestal. It's a little frustrating when people get them mixed up. Maybe I just need a life 😀😀!! I've never mentioned it on YT, but I came very close to opening up a Tea Room and I had a HUGE collection of tea cups. When the Tea Room fell through, I had to sell SO many of my tea cups.....it was heartbreaking 💔! But thank you for sharing your collection! It was a joy to watch.

Oh my goodness this is my favorite episode ever I collect teacups into saucers and I only have one full tea set but how lovely to just have all these English China Tea Cups and I have some from Poland they are all so dainty and delicate and beautiful and make such a difference when you could sit down and have a cup of tea in an actual teacup thank you so much for sharing love it all

I absolutely love Old Country Roses 🌹! Aquired the teapot 🫖 and sugar bowl 🥣 along with the creamer last weekend! Walked into a resale shop and there it was!❤ I got snack plates and teacups 🍵 and saucers last year. I also recently found the matching flatware! Thanks for sharing your collection! Beautiful ❤️

Love your collection of tea cups and saucers as well as coffee sets. I think you would go crazy over my set of dragonware tea set in the blue hand painted gold trim from Japan circa 1940's. I have two sets, one I inherited from my Great Aunt and one my husband gave me.My Great Aunts set has a lithograph of an oriental lady in the bottom of the cup and when you hold it up to the light you can see the lady in the bottom of the cup. So unusual and beware collecting dragon ware is very addicting. I love fine china and I have a big collection. Thank you for sharing!

Me again. I was thinking a right handed person has the advantage of the beautiful side looking at while drinking. My sister brought this to my attention years ago because she is left handed. So is our daughter. Love from Ohio
