In this video, I show your our diverse collection of teapots that we have. We have been collecting teapots for the past 15 years. Some of our teapots go with a bigger dinnerware set. Included in our collection are pieces of Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles. We have a few Bavarian children's playsets that are vintage and antique. I show you a couple of coffee pots that we have, including a new piece from Johnson Brothers Friendly Village that we just love. I show you how to tell the difference between a teapot and a coffee pot. This video was fun to do and fun to show you. We hope you enjoyed our video of my teapot collection today. You hit the spot teapots I collect them I think I have said before . I have some really old ones my grandmothers now are 150 yrs old and I have a Japanese teapot that never comes out of the glass cabinet it was given to me by a good friend and it belonged to her grandmother she gave me it because she has no children to leave it to and my daughter lives antiques , Tammy is a historian . She tells me what they are and varifies the age of them for me . Clever girl she gets it from my dad because it's not from me or Jeff . My dad used to call her an old soul , loved everything old and still does . Oh now how cool is that !!! They sound amazing......the older the better.....fantastic collection.....your daughter sounds like ours ...is she a Capricorn in the horoscope alignment by any chance ? That's ours...she cracks me up wants an old station wagon for her first car ...loves Victorian homes ....our Hummels...vintage clothes...and one description of Capricorn includes that of being an old soul ! @@MyTakeOnHomeGarden my Tammy is a Libra now 35 yrs but she looks about 20 yrs long dark hair down to her bottom and bright blue eyes dark skin . My great Nanna was Spanish married a Scott . Tammy has always loved old things . I have a photo of her at 18 yrs dressed in 1800 clothes I made for her she went to a fancy dress ball to do with the being a historian I have it painted on my wall . Our family give her things to keep she's like a my our vault safe . She has my mum's weddings dress , cards , gloves and necklace etc my mum left her them . I'm 63 and I'm not worried about leaving her anything of my families . My 2 sons my eldest is autistic he is 40 and my youngest a computer programmer but I took on my 4 nieces and nephews when my younger sister passed 20 yrs ago . They have no interest in old things . In fact my one niece hates old things complete opposite . Thankyou for your lovely comments . My daughter would love your home and your Frank Sinatra records she loves him . "I'm a little teapot short and stout, tip me over and pour me out". Great presentation. I have been collecting teapots for 30 or more years. My prize ones are two Hall teapots shaped like Aladdins lamps, probably circa 1940's and a few charity shop finds when my daughter lived in England and my great grandmothers. A former neighbor gave me a beautiful old teapot with two little girls on it, raised relief. It is quite heavy and it says Porcelier on the bottom, made in USA. They are so much fun to collect. Love them. You have some wonderful treasures.

I also have a teapot that plays tea for two I have a Rose bud teapot collection. With two teapots,10cups and saucers,a creamer and sugar. I got the whole set for 10dollars years ago. I love friendly village. I saw a few teacups and saucers at a second hand store but I couldn't carry everything home and was tired. They had been there a while and I went back to buy them but they were gone. I wish I would have bought them and placed on hold to pick up. Thank you for sharing. It is a lovely set.

Those are all so pretty. As you are showing them, I think I have a favorite then I like the next one even more. You did help me feel better about a decision. I bought what would have been an expensive item at a reduced price because it didn't have a lid. But if I enjoy having it, why not? Also, I may find the lid another time. Take care friends!

I find all my teapots at local thrift stores-I only seek out the vintage English-made ones, but I find them fairly often, for a very low cost. For green tea, I have Japanese teapots that I have also found at thrift stores.

Gorgeous I love my teapots the more unusual and unique the more I love them, most are usable, then there are the few that are just for show, question ? I have had this tiny teapot in my collection for a while and I have the back story on it. lol the lady I cared for her and her husband did a tour in France before heading to Germany right after the war, believe it was 1943, we she loved the tea there and order it daily at there one very fancy hotel ( name unknown) well she stole the teapot because she thought it was cute. It’s an American made pot lol very heavy porcelain pot with the lid handle and 2 rings that are all connected and sterling silver,(always having to clean it) maker is hall I can’t find it anywhere I have looked it’s only about 4-6 inches tall and wide. I do believe it was just made to hold the hot water for tea, I love it because of the memories it give me of the wonderful women I cared for, for 4 yrs. tfs your beautiful teapots.

Quite a story....it would have to be prob. Late summer 1945 when someone could travel like that.....ill try to find it ....thank you for your share 😎

Hall pottery started in1903 and is still producing teapots today

Love all teapots, I have several, my favorite is the Prince Albert Country Roses along withe the sugar and creamer, plus cups and saucers.thank you for sharing.

Oh boy yes wonderful....expensive little devils...we only have sugar ...creamer...and two cup and saucers in that group.....we just started.....any Royal Albert teapot is a fortune today 👍😎🌷
