N-Ext™ Cool Season Lawn Plan // N-Ext DIY Lawn Care Tips
Featured N-Ext Guest Host: Jake The Lawn Kid...
/ jakethelawnkid
In this video, Jake will show a simple 8 step fertilizer program with the
N-Ext™ fertility products for cool-season lawns. As long as you mow properly, irrigate when needed, and apply N-Ext™ Fertility products on schedule, your lawn will be the envy of the neighborhood.
A good blueprint for 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Fertilizer applications to cool-season grasses is:
Early Spring - 20 to 24 ounces per 1,000 square feet
Late Spring - 18 ounces per 1,000 square feet
Early Summer - 12 ounces per 1,000 square feet
Late Summer - 12 ounces per 1,000 square feet
Early Fall - 18 ounces per 1,000 square feet
Late fall - 20 to 24 ounces per 1,000 square feet

I’ll be honest when I first started watching I had a problem. You seem to be too young for me to take serious. But after watching your videos in the way you converse it seems to me your knowledge supersedes your age. I ran your cool season lawn care guide from this video, my lawn is spectacular !! Keep doing what you’re doing young man!! Thanks for all your great information.

What is the targeted N lbs/1000 on a liquid plan? It seems quite a bit lower than granular. Is the N more effectively used as a Foliar? Do the Bio-Stims help the plant use it more effectively? A combo of both or other?

JTLK - love the channel been following for a bit! I have been using the N-EXT products since last year and love them. I am wondering if a dose of double dark and milo (recommended bad rate) would hurt. West Michigan- temps are finally reaching average. Looking for a punch of dark green?

I just move to Georgia & I'm going to start trying to grow some tall fescue. I'm going to go all liquid & I'm going to put in a irrigation system in. My front lawn is 8000 ft. My yard is nothing but hard clay. I put some seeds down this past fall & it looks good in spots. I'm thinking I'm going to aerate & detach this spring but wait till the fall to be more aggressive with my seeds. Any help & suggestions would be appreciated.

Good deal..get a few quotes and get QUALITY over cheap price such as a Rachio controller box and professional grade rotors.. do not get cheap stuff installed or you will regret it.. have them teach you how to maintain too like change a head if you need to.etc...

JTLK, please do a warm season video. I already purchased the bio pack and seak for 2021. Considering the fertilizer also. I have Bermuda and live in central Alabama. Question, many Bermuda experts recommend 1lb N / month. How do you recommend I handle that with NEXT products?

Great video! I just started using these products and trying to learn more about them and lawn care. My question today is what do you dilute these products to? I see that it says minimal 7:1 ratio. What do you recommend to for dilution ratio?
@NExtDIYLawn

20:1 is best, and anything lower you can just water in and be fine.

@@NExtDIYLawn thank you so much! I started by doing 8:1 and was a little bummed because that would of been a little expensive with that ratio. Thank you again for answering!

I am going to be following this regiment this year. I do have one question. I was looking at also adding sea kelp and humic 12 but I saw RGS has both in it. Should I just add RGS or is it better if I do the humic and kelp instead of RGS?
@NExtDIYLawn
@NExtDIYLawn 3 жыл бұрын
You can do both if you want to. You can run this program simultaneously with the bio-stim pack's monthly apps. Both will get alawng great together.

Step 4 on the screen shows an application rate of 16oz per 1k for the green punch and 6 oz per 1k of the micro green. I just wanted to point out the error as Jake speaks the correct values.
