Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a significant leader behind the independence of India in 1947. His story is not discussed in its importance. This video explains his life in two phases. The first phase is his childhood, education, joining the Indian Civil Service and later resigning the position to join the Indian Independence Movement and Indian National Congress. He later resigned from INC due to ideological issues with Gandhi and other leaders. In the Second phase of his life, he takes up the leadership of the Indian National Army or the Azad Hind Fauj to fight against the British and liberate India. These events and associated stories are explained in this video.

Was waiting for this video. നമ്മുടെ school പുസ്തകങ്ങളിൽ അധികം ആരും കേൾക്കാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആണ് red fort trials ഒക്കെ. Military historian General G D Bakshi sir ന്റെ ബുക്കിൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്, 1945-51 time ൽ UK യുടെ PM ആയിരുന്ന clement atlee ഇന്ത്യ visit ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ (കൊൽക്കത്തയിൽ) West Bengal governor ആയിരുന്ന Justice PB Chakraborthy ആയിട്ടുള്ള conversation ആ ബുക്കിൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. Chakraborthy adds, "My direct question to Attlee was that since Gandhi's Quit India movement had tapered off quite some time ago and in 1947 no such new compelling situation had arisen that would necessitate a hasty British departure, why did they had to leave?" "In his reply Attlee cited several reasons, the principal among them being the erosion of loyalty to the British crown among the Indian army and Navy personnel as a result of the military activities of Netaji," Justice Chakraborthy says.

@Greesh, ഉണ്ട....അങ്ങേരെ പടമാക്കാൻ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കാർക്ക് യാതൊരു ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. 1947 ഇൽ ഇന്ത്യക്കു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടിയത് ബ്രിടീഷുകാർ രണ്ടാം ലോക മഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടു സാമ്പത്തിക കുത്തുപാള എടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണ് .

@@ejv1963 തേങ്ങ ആണ്. അന്നത്തെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാന മന്ത്രി Clement atlee തന്നെ സമ്മതിച്ച കാര്യം ആണ്. ഇന്ത്യക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടാൻ കാരണം Netaji ആണെന്ന്. Gandhi യെ ക്കുറിച്ചും atlee പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. Gandhi യുടെ റോൾ എന്തായിരുന്നെന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ "Minimal" എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. എവിടുന്നാ history പഠിച്ചത്?

അങ്ങനെ കേവലം ഒരു വ്യക്തിയുടെ മത്രം അധ്വാനം കൊണ്ടല്ല ഇന്ത്യക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടിയത്. ഗാന്ധി ഒറ്റക് നേടിയെടുത്തത് അല്ല, ബോസ്, നെഹ്റു, പട്ടേൽ അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള ഇവർ ആരും ഒറ്റക്ക് അല്ല ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്തെ ഇവിടുന്ന് നാട് കടത്തിയത്. എല്ലാവരും അവരുടേതായ സംഭാവനകൾ നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. എല്ലാരുടെും കൂട്ടായ പ്രവർത്തനഭലം ആയി ആണ് സ്വാതന്ത്രം ലഭിച്ചത്. ഗാന്ധി മുന്നിൽ നിന്ന് കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് സങ്കടിപിച്ച ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യാ സമരം കൊണ്ടും, ബോസ് ജപ്പാൻ സൈന്യവുമായി വന്നു ഇന്ത്യയുടെ കിഴക്കൻ അതിർത്തിയിൽ സങ്കർഷം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത് കൊണ്ടും, വേൾഡ് വാറിന് ശേഷം യൂറോപ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ സാമ്പത്തിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായ കൊണ്ടും. കോളനി വൽകരനത്തിന് എതിരായ വികാരങ്ങൾ പാച്ചത്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടായി വന്നത് കൊണ്ടും, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ജനങ്ങൾ മറ്റു വത്യസങ്ങൾ മറന്നു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്കർകേതിരെ ഒരുമിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടും ഒക്കെ ആണ് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കാർ ഇവിടുന്ന് സ്ഥലം വിടാൻ സമയമായി എന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്ന. ഇതിൽ പെടാത്ത ഒരുപാട് കാരണങ്ങളും കാണും. Clement Atlee പറഞ്ഞത് അയാളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം ആണ്. ഒരിക്കലും ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ഇടപെടൽ ഒരു minimal impacts അല്ല ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കാർക്ക് ഉണ്ടക്കിയെത്. ഗാന്ധിക്ക് മുൻപോ അതിനു ശേഷമോ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഇത്രക്ക് സ്വാധീനം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു നേതാവ് ഇല്ല. അത് പോലെ ഒരു നേതാവ് ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ടാണ് കോൺഗ്രസിന് കാര്യങ്ങൽ എളുപ്പമായി. ഓർക്കണം മോഡി ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ടാണ് ബിജെപിക്ക് ഇത്ര പവർഫുൾ ആയി നിൽക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നത്. അത് പോലെ തന്നെ പിണറായി വിജയൻ സിപിഎം ന് കൊടുക്കുന്ന സ്വാധീനവും.

After watching this video I am completely convinced Nethaji didn't die on that plane crash rather he himself faked his death which ultimately led to huge impact in India . After effect of it also contributed to our independence. was learning about Nethaji for last few years. But this video was an eye opener. Even though you didn't address conspiracy theories about his death , the aftermath of his death in India makes sense why he faked his death. And it makes complete sense why he lived his life after without revealing his identity.

* correction After the congress election in 1939, Bose had the full power to reorganise the working committee. But Bose sent a letter to Gandhi that "We may have difference in our ideology but I respect you. You can suggest the members to the working committee, only after that I will choose my members". But Gandhi didn't gave any reply. Bose sent 3 letters about this but still no reply. Finally Bose asked Nehru to talk with Gandhi. But it was also a failure. Thus Bose resigned from Congress!!

After this incident Bose said a statement "I don't know whether Gandhi's non-cooperation was against me or against Britishers" They have difference in ideologies but personally they were close. (Even after Bose facking his death in Aug 18 1945, Gandhi personally knew about it and he advised Bose's family NOT TO DO HIS FINAL RITUALS !!(via telegram message))
