Dota is a Team Game. People are leaving because they can't find and or fit on their last team. The lesson of how a 2months built team of OG before was that they miraculously found a good match with each other. Sometimes, not everyone flukes their way to win TI and lose at the first game of the next game.

players leave coz they know their self worth and they seek GOOD CAPTAINS/COACHES/LEADERSHIP to steer them to victory. they KNOW they cant do it themselves which is why they seek help

@@monvids04 But fly staying would not have worked. Something was missing. I think it was good for both of them. The only problem is how it ended. But as notail said, there is more to it that we don't know.

I'm a huge fan BigDaddy. I joined DotA2 at TI3 as an Alliance fanboy from DotA and HoN. I became an OG fan at Frankfurt. You owned me after some random Summit commentary. I only say this so you know I don't ask this lightly. The point you brought up in the first 2:30 of this video ... Are those things enough to justify Tal (and S4) leaving before TI8? I (a random, parasocial bystander) can never forgive Tal; and if I didn't literally bleed green before, I could never stop after TI8. I know there are a ton of very personal dynamics involved, but do you just see that as a consequence of the game, this many years out?
