All they need is a Barnhart Loader and a Class A climax or shay, and the log loading could be ANYWHERE in the eastern US from roughly 1880 to 1900

Working hard there. Nice fire wood for the 4th of July. Tree service my cousins son works for had been very busy around Pittsburgh PA with bad storms and torandos. Have a great holiday!

I saw a news story about a guy in the Pittsburgh area whose truck was crushed by a tree, so, as a joke, he put a for sale sign on it that said ran when parked.

great move of the debris, wet rails stink without sanders! feathering the throttle to keep it rolling! I like your camo technique “out of site, out of mind! “ unload it when the rain stops.

Looking at the flatcar the plants on the left are they weeds or jerusalem artichokes.A lady friend used to grow the latter her late husband had stomach cancer and the cooked vegetable was the only food he could keep down near the end.

with all the potential logging work to be had, might the Millbrook RR look into acquiring a set of logging Buggies to move logs from where they lay to a prep area.

@lordsherifftakari4127 I've thought about that, but flat cars are much more versatile, and any car I add to the fleet will need to be stored somewhere.

If you do a chain between the cars (or a bar) you could make them short for storage

I just read something about using rock salt to kill weeds. Vinegar kills the top but not the roots. I realized rock salt would not be great for the ties. Maybe a test along the sides? It said to just sprinkle it around. Not table salt.

Someone who works on thw 12" scale playing with trains for a hobby is like a CAD designer 3D proinging for a hobby.

@erniepike3902 it sounds like it ought to be rare, but it's really not that uncommon in this hobby. I've met more people in the railroad industry in this hobby (from train men to CEO's) than any other place outside the railroad. The difference is that here they've usually got smiles on their faces.
