N22 Macroom Bypass Drive Through & Timings

Күн бұрынOver the weekend I went down to Macroom to get have a look and see the new Bypass, and see the time savings between via the town and via the road.
This is only first segment, with another 2/3rds yet to be finished which will be able to bring people almost to the county bounds.

Traffic was lighter in the village because of the new bypass. So it would have taken longer prior to bypass

Interesting how it only cuts off 5 minutes off the trip, I would’ve thought it would be more. Well when the rest of the bypass is open it will be more.

It's a kilometer longer, but it does make it more consistant which is more important. with macroom you could have a clean run, or it could take your 25 minutes to get through equally.

This was a quality video, exactly what i was trying to understand from dublin. Where did you finish on the other side? Trying to understand where the other 14km is left to do.
