As a shipbuilder in Canada this is a very fine job of craftsmanship and your builders should be very proud of their little ships an excellent job well done

Beautiful. The 41, 475, and 51 are my leading choices for my next purchase. I really have enjoyed my conversations with Dave B. on east coast, so far.

I have to say I'm loving the Nordhavn boats. This boat would be ideal, just the right size.

I love this boat Jim. If I could buy it, this is what I would live on, and travel the New Zealand coast line on, with the occasional passage to Australia. And who knows? Maybe cross the Pacific at some point?
@animal4943 жыл бұрын
Perfect boat... Great Loop, European canals, inside passage.... AND ocean crossing range to get between cruising grounds. What has actual test data shown is range at 7 knots? I recall the numbers from CFD analysis. Fit and finish looks amazing. I wanna pick mine up in Turkey!

Very interesting development and looking forward to sea trial details (esp. fuel efficiency) ps: quality of finish and system looks really good though I think wooden trim installation on the port side of the boarding gate requires some more attention (1:03)

Well done, Jim. It does indeed seem to hit all the marks. I like not having a fly bridge. I.e., too tall and duplicate equipment to go wrong. Twin engines is an excellent idea instead of having to maintain a "get home' aux. engine with different filters and spare parts, starters, etc. I like the induction stove top. I.e., no propane onboard. At sea, I'd be eating fresh fruits and veggies and then "one pot" meals. My only quibble is I do like the very comfortable center helm chair of the 2004 43 with doors both port and starboard. And finally, do you have a recommendation on a Sat phone, fwd looking sonar? Also a detailed list of recommended spare parts, starters, bolts, tubing, clamps, etc., might be a good idea for a buyer. :)

A beautiful boat. Well done to the Nordhavn team. I don't know how it can be done, but even a small semi-flying bridge like on the Botnia Targas would give somewhere outside to sit facing forwards, as the only place currently is on the aft deck.

Fabulous boat, especially at that price point. I think you're challenge will be the negative publicity generated when the wait-times stretch past a few years. I hope you're looking NOW at how to ramp production to meet demand. Because your competitors will be looking to fill that demand with their copies of the N41.

Hi ! Congratulations for this N41 "I really liked the Project and its concept as an alternative to cruising to many places around the world. I am thinking of acquiring it by going to pick it up in Turkey, as I would be in Portugal and have navigation experience. please send me the link of the video in which you demonstrate the navigability test. Taking advantage, I ask: what would be the place to install the Dishwasher in the Kitchen? Success because you deserve it! Att Roberto

How customizable is the interior?
@sheepdog110210 ай бұрын
Fuel line is crimped behind the sight glass and should be upgraded to some better material. But everything else looks great 👍
@Tnapvrvideo Жыл бұрын
Is there room to have a water maker added to this boat at the time of its build in Turkey? Could the short couch on the port side be left out of the design in favor of an office desk area and some additional storage or is there some type of tankage under that couch?
@tammyvincent9417 Жыл бұрын
I wonder if a custom design could be a half head and storage/desk configuration for the extra stateroom. I realize this negates that space being any kind of stateroom with the extra half head, but my husband and I require at least the extra half head but not an extra stateroom.

Oh, that's a beautiful boat, but.. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something missing from this boat... And, what about the European version (220V, metric system, etc.) can I change the color of the interior?

At 2:02 in the video we briefly see the finish work underneath the cap rail next to the transom door, and to be perfectly honest it looks awful. What's up with that, Nordhavn?

absolutely state of an art for a 41footer !! wonder if it can be fitted with a slightly bigger engine that can provide a top speed of 20knots when needed !!? thanks for a wonderful video. keep them coming!

Lovely boat. Remains to be seen if boat will be as good as the older 40 and 43. Nordhavn has never built a turnkey boat to a price point. Be careful what you wish for. I always got the impression that the 40 and 43 were nicely over ugly and over engineered.

hmm, at 2/3 mill, just think how many houses(depending where of course) you could buy with that kind of money,then take into account the depreciation value of boats/yachts against property, i know where my money would go :)

Strike 1: Garmin TOUCH SCREEN electronics. Automatic out to have a touch screen. Strike 2: Convection Microwave. This abomination is not an acceptable alternative to an oven. Strike 3: No Deadlights for the portholes. Strike 4: No Flying Bridge. Strike 5: No portside door at helm.

On point 1, everyone seems to be using touchscreen now... I think we just have to accept it or swap it. On 2, same, swap it if you dont like it. On 3, I assume they have deadlights, they just didn’t show them. On the flying bridge, in order to meet the new category A certification, you have to keep CG low, the highly placed weight a flybridge on a boat this small would probably have made them fail the certification.
@jaquigreenlees3 жыл бұрын
@@saillaw2 Can't accept them, touch screens do not respond to my touch 65% of the time, so are not a reliable interface. On the microwave, if buying brand spanking new build, the builder can have it swapped before delivery. The fittings that would go with the deadlights weren't there, likely they weren't fitted. Another 500 pounds up top for the flying bridge, another 500 pounds of ballast, cg still low.
