I don't know why, but 10:30 surprised me with flipping the row of seats around like that. That certainly is clever design - and it speaks volumes about available legroom, which for a tall person like myself is always good to know.

Kodama shinkansen train usually empty. Most people travel between Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto or Nagoya take super express Shinkansen Nozomi and Hikari. It common mistake for foreign tourist taking Kodama Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka instead Nozomi and Hikari super express.

I see you often use the area around Osaka and Kyoto so maybe you reside in that area. These two places are my favorite destinations in Hapan and I have wonderful memories from there especially the extremely friendly people we met there. Made my visit so memorable and hope to come back sooner rather than later. Thoroughly enjoy your vlogs you present them so well. Thank you for sharing. Bushyboy Oz.

Oh how would I would love to be able to ride this. I don't care if it takes 4 hours to get from Osaka to Tokyo in my opinion it's the experience of riding the train and seeing the various different types of cities and countryside you get to go by. I've always had this belief even as a kid I always preferred to take the train over the bus or plane. I'm still a humongous train fan at 34 and I won't stop being like that.

The first thing I'm curious about is why you don't talk when you record a video, such as some brief introduction, I can't hear any sound from you except ambient sound, there is no sound, and how to display the subtitles? I turn off the subtitles with the option, and I can't hear or see any introductions. I also want to learn how to record videos. I just don't know how you did it. Generally, subtitles are automatically generated by what is said in the video.

@@ITSUKAJAPANTRAVEL there are quite a few channels with travel by transport, but there are practically none (or I didn’t find them) with ancient places and other things. A little historical background and a beautiful video. I don’t think it will be much more expensive than what you are shooting now. google translation is of course not very good, but if you do not use the language, you almost do not understand it. thanks

This is because they do not always run at top speed. Because of the many curves in this section, there are many speed limits.(It takes about 2h20m even by the fastest train) Also, the train stops at every station along the way and often waits at a station to be overtaken by a faster train following it, which takes more time.
