Also important to be mindful of the credit card utilization thresholds for fico scoring. 8.9%, 28.9%, 48.9%, etc etc. Crossing those utilization thresholds can give you a pretty good score boost if you are getting out of credit card debt.

The BIG HIT to the credit score ISN'T FROM the new inquiry. The BIG HIT will come a month after the new card gets activated and it reports to the bureaus for the first time. That's because not only is the inquiry still impacting the credit score, but now the "Age of Credit" metric in affected & the ramifications of that may last longer than the inquiry. On my last card add, the inquiry was about 3 points, but when that card reported, it was 15 more points.

I get such GREAT service every time I go to the *Prime consultant 001* and the IRS is SO wonderful to work with. I DEFINITELY want the Government in charge of my Social Credit Score! This couldn't possibly be misused in ANY way! All the data breaches that the VA has had makes me confident that my data would be TOTALLY safe!

Great video! I have a question, I have two fraud inquiries on my reports that I would like to get removed. I've seen your video regarding this, but Im still a bit confused. So I know my first step would be making a call with the credit bureau (Experian) but should I also make call what time? 7:22 but wouldn't this ding your credit history/hard inquiry making the car loan example fromt he beginning null? Or would the cc inquiry be minimal that it wouldn't effect the auto loan?

Getting a new credit card or CLI, will lower credit utilization. This is only for CC's. Loan utilization affect scores differently.

Hey Naam, The "age of the oldest account" can be improved by asking older relatives to add you as an authorized user, but is it really that much of an impact given that credit bureaus and banks can also detect it? Could you perhaps provide more details on this?

Primary accounts will also hold more weight than AU's. AU's still will have a positive impact but not as much as a primary.

Credit scores are just a form of federal control, so if you want to continue living a good life? it’s important to have a high score. My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. *Prime consultant 001* made it stay at that range and getting it up

My credit score was 842, I charged 660.00 on it ,paid it in full and my score ,dropped down to 829, what's up with that, and I paid 1200.00 in full the month before, for my phone
