What Hajji said sums up what causes issues in most marriages in the diaspora. There are literally two options at hand, if you provide everything, you'll ultimately get the desired treatment. Wealthy buzungu don't partake in this so-called partnership.

But I think in reality when you bring a woman to diaspora as soon as she arrives you have to understand that she has her mother, brothers asking her for some support. The man can't give support you, his family in Uganda and your family therefore you have to let her go out to work but issue comes when she becomes arrogant and starts to disrespectful because she's also working.
