This is the biggest weir in Yorkshire by volume of water. It is the most downstream weir on the River Ouse. It is tidal and the tide is currently out. When the tide comes in it is much easier for the fish to get over the weir. It has a large pool and trough fish pass on the near bank with 6 stages.
