I love this story, but i dont completely buy it because he was obsessed with Bess when the series started and when they lost their memory, he still went after Bess.

That what it call secret feeling. He didn't tell no one about it and the only thing to keep his secret is to have a crush on Bess and be with girls that he don't love. Also we can have more crush at the same time.
