Mike and I head up to the Northern Cape to explore the famous Namaqua Eco 4x4 Route & Richtersveld National Park travelling all along the Orange River. At 600km in total, this route is the longest in South Africa and also one of the prettiest.

So if you look at the grass bank at 8:33, we stayed on a perfect grass bank almost directly in the top side of the screen opposite that big island.

What rims are you running on the jimny? Can't see if it's steel or alloy? I presume it's steel? Will be in contact with you guys shortly, see you got some nice stuff on your website for the jimnys! Thanks

We had some cows visiting us after dark, because we camped in their grazing area 😄

Great video! We're doing it in the next few weeks and wanted to know your opinion on if a normal venter trailer would be fine on the part 1 between Pella and vioolsdrift? It's got pretty decent ground clearance

Thanks Niel. Ground clearance shouldn't be much of an issue on the twee spoor but the corrugations were quite bad. I would definitely deflate the trailer tyres as well. Would love to hear your feedback after tackling the route, enjoy!

The Zombie Zook was never built for overlanding but more a weekend trail warrior. Packing space also becomes a big issue with the Zooks once overlanding. Will upload an overview on it soon.
