Tommy Bahama has a wonderful linen type jean jacket type. Dressier than jean. I have one in an off-white that is perfection.

I have most of these. Still looking for the right pair of linen pants. Not too short. High enough rise. No drawstring. Not too voluminous in the leg. Maybe could use tailored shorts. I prefer a skirt that is narrower as a lot of excess material isn't a good look on me.

For summer clothing that I wear on repeat: shorts and sleeveless tops most of the time, followed by lightweight summer skirts or skort.

My mother used to say that pockets are for decoration and not be used/stuffed with things or you will not look chic

True! Especially front jeans pockets. Except for maybe in men. I give them a pass since they don’t carry purses

My favorite in 100 degree weather: cotton poplin White long sleeve button up slightly loose. Shirt dress in cotton poplin ( striped) Seersucker or rayon shorts or skirts. Pants rayon or linen blend, no string ties. High waisted. It’s too hot here for jeans, or tees. Nothing synthetic.

I don't understand the partially tucked in shirts. Either tuck it in or don't . But why do it on one side, or just in the front and not in the back. Is it just me?? It looks weird to me.

I am struggling to find a dress to my niece’s wedding. I want to be dressed but not complete with the MOB. I’ve tried on 40 dresses….all no go! It’s so disheartening.
