Their arrogance isn't wrongly placed or showed. Sets a standard of expectation for would be cooks wanting to become professional.

My god what a strawberry comment. It's something thats NICE TO HAVE in our life...but if you can't get through life, can't be successful without it and can't learn without it....well my old pet rabbit seemed to get though life just like that too. We smiled at him, petted him and gave him lots of positivity. He was also certainly good for nothing much else but taking up space and looking cute.

I watch a lot of competitive cooking shows and I’ve always wondered this. The food wouldn’t be nearly as good even if it was kept in a warmer. Makes me believe most of these cooking shows are probably scripted.

I remember seeing a video of Gordon Ramsay talking about Masterchef and how they judge the food. He said that the judges taste the food while it is being cooked because by the time it comes to judging, most of the food is cold. The judges will taste one dish then discuss it and give comments/advice to the competitor and then discuss the dish with each other and they do this for every single dish so by the time they get to the last dishes they would be cold. I'll try to find that video and post a link.

Aaliyah Sims they taste during prep. They have a good idea of how everything tastes. A full tasting is a reward for being the top three best dishes

They started doing it that way when they picked a dish based off how it looked in MasterChef America and it tasted horrible. So they had three 'top dishes' and one was a fail
