There was no half time show but the 8th grade team practicing with some jamming beat music. The cheerleading squads are in demand to cover different grades and teams, maybe next time.
It was a case of the Mondays for many coming off the results of the national sports scene on Sunday. The Winton Woods Warriors were ready to go with a great warm up and positions against the Nagel Nighthawks. However it did not take long before The Hawks pecked away at their opponents defense and capitalized on offensive errors. While it remained a relatively low scoring game in the first half, that soon changed as the score gap widened. The warriors did their best and kept strong in composure, despite the inevitable loss, and in typical Nagel fashion with great sportsman-like-conduct, they honored the Warriors with high-fives and hand-shakes.
