My daughter is disabled and a wheelchair user. Just want to say it’s never acceptable to use those spaces if you don’t need them.

For the Dear Toaster that wrote about wanting friends for your husband… as a gift for him, sign him up for a course or a class or a team that he could be interested in. Moving somewhere new, what really helped me was signing up for volleyball open league where I meet new people and we go for a game then a beer afterwards. I honestly dont think you need to go with him because he might lean on you too much or rely on you to make the connections with the people he would meet. Just gift him a class or a individual pass on a team and then he has to take it from there! Xox

Agreed! I work with a lady in a wheelchair and she has an accessible van and it can be very difficult to find spots for her. Please leave this spot free if you don’t need it!

Agreed. My uncle has been paralyzed since he was 16 and it is absolutely heartbreaking to watch when we wants to go somewhere and all the handicap spots are taken and to watch how much more difficult such simple tasks can be. This is NEVER ok

My grandmother died… I kid you not 20 years ago. My parents still have the handicapped tag. My mother does have a pain disorder but it’s not assigned to her. They swear they only use it at stadiums to get into a specific lot but it still drives me insane!!!

I Love love love you girlies!!! I have MS and use a cane or a walker and I need those handicapped spots. I'm sure the widow is a lovely lady but if she can walk,. she should. Love ya and think you're both WWickedly talented!!!

fun fact: WWE actually owns the names of the bella twins, and all their stars. thats why they cant take the name with them. WWE has a trademark on it so they make money off of it every time its used. I work for a sports marketing agency and i learned that when we had WWE as an account.

WWE often owns rights to characters names, so if you leave WWE and chose to use your stage name, they're paying WWE to use it. That's probably why the bella sisters are using their legal name.

I loved One Italian Summer but did anyone else notice the inconsistent story line in Chapter 2? It starts off with Katy having scheduled her Uber ride and told Eric she didn't need him to drive her to the airport bc "Uber's on the way". They get in a fight, she loads the dishwasher and then she goes upstairs to take a nap and Eric comes upstairs an HOUR later when her Uber is finally at their house??? Like that all was maybe 1.5-2 hours total realistically. IDK maybe I'm just an uneducated girlie and it takes that long to get an Uber in LA.

I have two disabled brothers and we have the same car pass - I personally don’t fault that woman for using it for a little longer. Not the best thing ever, but I think it’s okay to let it go for now

Ozempic. She talks all the time about how she hates working out and openly admits to “eating like shit” but has managed to drop this much weight very quickly. She also blocked the word “ozempic” from being posted in her tiktok comments, which feels pretty telling. It’s unfortunate considering she and many other celebs are on the O train and taking it from people who genuinely need the medication. Mindy Khaling is another one, the before and after photos are unnerving.

@@lyssi9310 Ok, now. Truthfully I'm pretty surprised. I hope they all can stay on it for the rest lives. Cause from the studies and articles I've read. When you go off of it the weight comes back so fast. And when you lose and gain weight that quickly it messes with your gall bladder, etc. Sad but true, diet and exercise it the only thing that really works forever.

Yes and she mentioned something about it in the beginning and said don’t ask me about ozempic or something like that which made me then realize that’s why she’s been so hush hush about her fast weight loss. 🤔

I don’t think that’s what they said at all. I think they said given the circumstances of this specific older woman losing her husband and that the tag was probably expiring soon just let it go instead of causing issues with you mother in law who just lost her husband

Just wanted to say that "person-first language" is usually more appropriate, for example, saying "person with a disability" instead of "the disabled" or "handicapped" :)
