Naim Audio was founded in 1969 when Julian Vereker started with a humble transistor amplifier. This documentary shows you the development of Naim Audio 20 years on from then.
You’ll witness the factory processes, including testing, production and a variety of vintage machines which were used to manufacture Naim’s systems. See the Naim employees at their work stations, including the engineers as they use our old computer aided test systems to ensure a perfect sound quality.
This video offers a fascinating look at the production methods we used in 1989 and is worth a watch for any music enthusiast.

Still have my NAC62/NAP140 Combo, bought in 1989. I use it almost every day as part of my hi-fi audio and HD vision system. The selector control and volume are still as noise free as the day the combo was purchased over 30 years ago. It is simply the most fuss-free, reliable, neutral and dynamic amplification system I've ever owned or listened to.

great film very interesting, i still use my nait 2 its a great amp i have had it for about 25 years , and still going stromg . its great that naim audio are still making high quality hi fi

I remember the first time I heard the nait, 15watts ( I think it was...may have been less) COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Awesome little amp.

Perfection isnt cheap. If u want a bentley, its gonna cost u. If u want a decent hifi, that will too. In the words of an old stella artois ad.......reassuringly expensive. I love my naim set up!!

Naim owners ought to be aware of what JVs hobbies are that he spends his GBP - fortune on - it exists inside a very nice swanky harbour on the south coast of England. Don't you know.? Still this IS a very impressive company video on KZfaq. Are you now VERY jealous.? NB The old axis from the 1980s with Linn products is now totally kaput.

I doubt if Julian Vereker is spending anything any more. He died in 2000.
