Top tip: with so much gear and so many people, carry a lot of memory cards and let at least 2 or 3 people also record clips on their phones along the way so that if you lose the main footage, you will still have a lot of clips from the others.

In the late 1980s my mom used to drive from Uganda to botswana and south africa! To purchase cars she would later flip!!

Where the journey is so epic, even GPS might throw in the towel and say, 'You're on your own,' and the only 'roadside assistance' you need is a good playlist for those long stretches of African savannah! I will be in South Africa to film one of our TV show episode, thank God my travel dart hits it when I am in Vietnam. I appreciate the tips you've provided!

you should monetize every opportunity you get. all these companies you show should be paying you instead of you paying them. they are getting free advertising from you. This is what I have learned living here in the USA, people don't just show companies and their products on such a popular channel like yours without paying.

I love your Series and how you show us places we would never see in our lifetime. Kudos to you. My suggestion to you my dear sister is to reach out to the vehicle manufacturers especially Subaru since you have been using their manufactured vehicles and giving them free advertising, they should be sponsoring your trips.
