I love Dominic, he's very wise for one so young. He's a great catch! Naka, you are lucky you took off your shades and saw the light girl! As my mum used to say, "YOU NEVER MISS THE WATER TILL THE WELL RUNS DRY" Thank you for telling us about your relationship. I really learnt a lot from you both. In my relationship, I do everything, but my boyfriend is very willing to cook, clean, Hoover, even clean the oven; which refuse to do! But you know what, I always tell him it's ok I'll do it because he works from 7am-11pm and that is an extremely long day right, so I feel guilty because I'm not working, so why not help that way. I have to admit I really hate cooking. But I'm a great cook...which seems to be my curse! 🙄 I resented cooking because he came home so late and I was like Naka where I was like a batularess and used to doing what I like when I like, so I ended up bending and being less selfish because like Naka, i didn't want to lose him. I'm used to it now and have organized my meals to cook, so that it's easier for me and less stressful. Same thing happened with me. My mama treated me like a princess. She did all the chores, cooked, cleaned my room, made my bed, did my laundry. She did that until I moved out at 22. I only moved out because I got married and that's when I found out I was spoiled. I was a good kid, very respectful and sweet. My mom always said I was her cream puff. And I loved that she treated me like that but still it affected me and I have to make a conscious effort and pre plan and prepare mentally to get up and deep clean the whole place and do laundry. My husband wants me to get into cooking. He's the better cook between us. But I'm going to try.

It takes a willful and intelligent person to be self-aware enough to admit their wrongs and actually work on cooking, cleaning, being more vulnerable. I still need to work on those things😂 Naka is a trouper fr!💓

I feel the whole don’t cook don’t clean thing comes into play when men see your entire worth is based on cooking and cleaning. Like where I’m from men would date a lady for cleaning and cooking services and that’s not cool like if that’s it you should get you a maid. Also they don’t like helping.
