Nakhon Si Thammarat Food: The Weekend Morning Market in Nakhon Si Thammarat. New Thailand Food & Travel Videos Every Wednesday. Subscribe: / darrenb3 . A Walk Around a Thai Food Market in Nakhon Si Thammarat Thailand. Street Food Tour in Thailand.
This is the Saturday & Sunday Morning Market in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The market is open every Saturday & Sunday morning from about 6am till 11am. It is at Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/NeHiNfctW9Q2
This market was the best food market I’ve been to for ages. There is heaps of Thai street food and Thai market food on offer. You’ll find fried, barbecued and steamed foods, meats, seafood, salads, noodle and rice dishes, Thai desserts, cakes, ice cream, pancakes, freshly made fruit juices and heaps of other things too. There’s also masses of clothes, shoes, watches, jewelry, sunglasses, DVDs and everything else you would expect to find at a market in Thailand. If you love Thai Street & Thai Market Food or shopping be sure to visit this market in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The choices of Thai food and Thai cuisine on offer are amazing.
Thai street food is everywhere in Thailand, you’ll find it from Bangkok to Pattaya to Phuket and everywhere in between. It’s cheap and it is really delicious! At markets like this all the food is cooked fresh, as they sell it, and as I mentioned, it is delicious! Street food is some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand!
Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. Thailand food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for over 5 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

mouthwatering market! i just got back from my local 'market'. i bought 3 large oranges with thick skin for the equivalent of 200 baht! the same cost for 7 apples. the bananas looked like yesterdays dog food and everyone laughed at the 1 pineapple for sale lol! i think when i go to Thailand in March i'm going to OD on fruit. Thank-you for the great vid.

In US you will catch a turtle when fishing sometimes. This particular one was over 10 pounds and called a snapping turtle. My grandparents did the preparing/cooking and it tasted great. My uncle caught the bull frogs at night. Other meats you can hunt and taste here are dove,deer,raccoon,possum,rabbit,squirrel. Domestic meats we raised on the farm are the cow,pig,goat,chicken. The only one I have not tried yet is possum.

+noname me That's quite a range of exotic meats you eat there. In Australia we (well some of us) eat kangaroo, emu and crocodile, no frogs or turtles though. Deer and rabbit are also eaten, but they were introduced from Europe. Australian possums were introduced to New Zealand and I believe they're eaten there, but we don't eat them in Australia.

Darren, just more great work! do the Thai have particular holiday meals like we do here? say, like Christmas ham or thanksgiving turkey, and what are they? I love that there are so many soups!!! thank you making these vids, the give me a chance to dream.

+Michigan Mister You're very welcome, I'm glad you enjoy them. Yes, there are loads of delicious soups here and they are very popular. I've asked my wife and a couple of friends about holiday meals and it seems they don't exist here. Generally for those types of occasions there would be a huge variety of different dishes available. Here's a link to a pic on my Facebook page that illustrates. This was the lunch when a friend became a monk, there were about 15 choices on offer there: facebook.com/thailandvideos/photos/a.862663170518758.1073741831.862604537191288/862675080517567/?type=3&theater

Im a beef eater. It looks like pork and seafood are a main staple of the Thai people. How would I go at beef in these markets ( I mean cooked like other food offerings) Great video again. We love your channel as all the kids can watch it. Greg
@darrenb3
@darrenb3 8 жыл бұрын
Hey Greg, To be honest, I've never tried the beef at the markets. On my first trip to Thailand 5 years ago the friend I was traveling with ordered a beef steak at a local restaurant we were eating at. I questioned him as to whether he mightn't have been better having a steak in Australia the day before, as Thailand isn't really known for the quality of its beef. When it arrived he ate 2 small pieces and then left the rest. I tried a small piece and that was the last time I ate local beef in Thailand. It smelt kind of like a rice paddy & was rather tough. Good restaurants here sell imported Australian or NZ steak, the vendors at the markets would be using local stuff. I've never tried it at the markets, it may be better than the steak I had 5 years ago, but ... I'll try and do a taste test for you soon :). As always, thanks for watching and commenting!

Darren first off let me say great video :) I love watching a video's such as your's I get so tired of watching the boob's and butt video's that alot of people are putting out, it's nice to see someone who focus's on the people and the normal day to day life of the people such as you do with video's about off the "Normal" tourist routes. Have to say that if I could afford to move there I would like to move to someplace like this where I could enjoy the more laid back life instead of someplace like a big city. Anyway didn't mean to write a book lol but thanks for all your effort :)
