This may be a little controversial, but I think it would make the fight feel even more like a final boss. When the nameless deity reaches 0% health, they must complete their current attack until playing the death animation. That way the fight doesn’t end suddenly mid-attack. Edit: @random-username_ makes a good point. The purple laser should be the final attack as a desperation phase, which would solve any form of abrupt ending.

I saw something incredible, when the character gets close to the black hole, he turns red due to the gravity of the black hole, incredible detail!

honestly tier 2 theme was pefectly fitting into a fight, because boss rush is a test, and this is also a test and also tier 2 theme is the best boss rush theme

The eyes on the robe must be having an absolute EXPERIENCE getting flung around like that with these new cloth physics...

I absolutely love the sound work on the massive beam attack

I love all the small details of this fight! The stars forming Orion’s sword, the Geiger counter-like ticks after each solar flare attack, the distortion of the black hole (which I notice is now blacker than previous teasers, much more intimidating), just to name a few. I also have a purely visual suggestion for the supernova attack: maybe as the star is getting compressed, it could turn a bright white/blue colour (neutron star esque) and the supernova itself could have waves of bright blue and violet. After all, this is one of the highest energy events in the universe! Love the mod so far and am waiting patiently to see how it turns out :)

i have a slight suggestion with the clock attack, i think it would be really cool if the music was in sync with the clock, stops when it stops and reverses when it reverses besides that, i love watching these videos. keep it up please!

this looks really cool, i do agree with a similar comment that the large laser could be a finishing attack that ends up reverting the player to the main screen

Idk if it'd be possible to do this but I think instead of the Quasar doing flat damage, it should instead inflict a very strong DoT effect that is amplified the closer you are to the center of the Quasar. This would make it feel more like its tearing you apart, instead of just getting hit like it's a regular projectile or regular contact damage.

I think the creepy background surprise attacks should have more scary and surreal things going on each time. And while you’re at it, you should try an effect only shows the black and white outline effect in anything that’s the ground and the player

The detail that your wings also change to purple is crazy?? I think the fight is in excellent shape, though could certainly use one more attack for variety and possibly more unsettling distortions.

When the deity going far behind to the background layer make sure the transparency little bit invisible so it can blend with background, lets say its a mist background.. 🙏 thank you

Damn this bossfight is really evolving, ecxited to see the masterpiece (end result) gl! Also i have a suggestion about the clock attack: The clock hands should dmg the player, and then the player shouldnt espace the clock area(the circle of the clock), maybe near the edges of the clock area a fire ring stops you from going outside the area or else you would take strong debuffing dmg, or maybe you are forced to stay inside. since you would be forced inside either way maybe make the area of the clock bigger to grant some extra room for dodges Now the player has to run away from the clock hands and the fire balls, this would make a really cool effect since you now made it go in reverse aswell.

The fact that this thing not only breaks your Rage/Adrenaline bars, but also BOOTS YOU TO THE TITLE SCREEN implies that it has at least partial knowledge of the 4th wall and is able to break it in some capacity

I love the distortion effects in this boss, really gives it the power that it deserves I do wonder however what happens once you pass the test and load back into your world. Will everything be buffed and you will ascend to auric soul status?

This would bring a fresh and exciting twist to the battle, making it stand out even more in the Terraria Calamity experience. Nonetheless, your work on this boss fight is commendable, and it's evident that a lot of effort has gone into creating it. My only concern is that some players, especially those with potato laptops, might struggle with the performance during the fight due to the extensive laser effects. Perhaps some optimization options could be considered to ensure a smoother experience for a wider range of players.

This is absolutely stunning, but the only gripe I have is that laser barrage during the rage/adrenaline cutscene feels a bit out of place, like maybe replacing it with those big reality tear lasers instead of the current lasers would make for a cooler effect

Yoo I love the new clock rework, reminds me of something like Eridanus or Mutant, I just personally wish the projectiles were slower, with more of them to compensate, making you have to be more precise with your movements (unless mounts like draedon's chair are banned in this world / fight)

imo, the cutscene before the clock attack still seems really jarring, and it's still really hard to tell what's going on during it
