Our 2020+ Outback XT Exhaust Systems have a refined sound in both the muffled and muffler delete configurations, but as more of the exhaust is modified, the muffled system comes in handy to allow more power improvement with the midpipe without getting the in cabin sound levels too high while climbing hills or at constant freeway speeds at low RPM.
Single exit systems for the 2.5 liter naturally aspirated models also available.

Gotta do the cat back. Get rid of the stock resonator and it gets rid of a lot of weight.

I currently have the muffler delete axel back, getting ready to order the midsole you guys make for my 2022 wilderness. But how do I get it to pop like that at the end of the rev?

How do you like it? I have the delete axleback on my Legacy and tossing around the idea of the midpipe.

Yessir, it fits that package as well. The midpipe gets a little close to the differential skidplate, but we recommend upgrading to a Primitive Racing rear skidplate anyway, as it's a huge improvement over the factory unit. Heck, get one of their front skidplates too, as the factory Wilderness skidplate up front has a cutout that exposes the bottom of the oil pan.

No, both of the configurations of this exhaust make more power than stock mufflers do.

Catback with the 5” mufflers is the best overall sound and performance. Midpipe picks up a lot of torque and improves the tone as well.

Both sound good but video can only tell so much. I'm just wondering if unmuffled would get too loud, maybe a little annoying at constant highway speeds?

We are a big fan of the muffled catback on the car - so we usually recommend people start with the muffled axleback. The unmuffled axleback sounds great on its own but gets a little overbearing under certain circumstances as a full catback exhaust. The muffled is the clearest upgrade friendly path.

Actually pretty minimal with the 5” muffler or muffler delete. Delete gets a little boomy climbing a hill in drive but freeway is much less drone (bordering non existent) compared to similar naturally aspirated vehicles.

For you or anybody else wondering about drone - Around 75mph the drone is very noticeable and was one of the reasons I removed the Muffled version from my car. Anybody sitting in the back seat can also feel the vibrations of exhaust as you're driving around. On a 1,000 mile journey recently, I'd slap the transmission into manual mode and drop it to 7th gear to give my ears a break for a few minutes. I miss having the deeper tone of the exhaust, but if you're on the freeway a lot or have passengers, they might find it annoying. YMMV.
