In December 2021, seven hikers set out for South Africa and Namibia to cross the world's oldest and toughest desert, Namib, in off-road vehicles.
In two Toyota Highlax and Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs, the travelers will try to cross the desert from south to north. Dunes up to 300 meters high, the cold waters of the Atlantic and the sweltering 50-degree heat of the Namib and Kalahari await them.
Along the way we encounter abandoned diamond mining towns, burnt-out cars and dunes hundreds of meters high.
