Thank you Warren & crew, for letting many of us live vicariously through your 4 day marathon!. 2020 was my last NAMM, and I'm reminded of what I don't miss.......wrecked voice, foot and knee pain, ears ringing(with ear plugs). You're a trooper!........ you should have had a thermos of hot tea on hand ☕😋

Paul Wolf was amazing. That was probably the most interesting stuff I'd seen at NAMM this year. $3k for a fet mic though, phew...there's a lot of big competition around that price point. And with something like the Soyuz 023 for about half that price seems to make it a tougher pill to swallow.

I've decided to upgrade my monitors this year. I saw at NAMM Kali Audio's LP-UNF monitors which would probably be ideal for my setup. They're also closer to my budget than the IN-UNFs.

Thank you Warren . As we would hood you went in on the namm coverage I watched all the days you covered . I also watched other content creators coverage of the namm show & none came with the science of sound. Technics technique. quite like you. Kudos I salute you.keep up the great work. Kinna wanted to enter your giveaway but held off. sonic state did great coverage as well in the area of synth technology.. looking forward to building learning & working with this emersive sound it could be big. But if history repete's itself this may fizzle out like my Sony quadraphonic intergrated amp truly hope not there is some real potential for this technology other than movie's a Think Im going to get a presonus too start cutting my teeth.. got me looking forward to more show from you.. and this so is going to put everyone out of work at the speed it's moving at..will go to Rubin site and learn a bit more..

BTW WARREN: Did You do it or did You heard that any PROs are normalizing tracks a little bit during the recording stage? If yes, then how much for a balance?

WE sometimes will gain up after recording if necessary, I often make those kinds of decisions during the mix stage if I feel part of a performance is a little too low

And it seems as though everyone is presenting it as a massive breakthrough, because after all, the icons of the music “Industry “ are gleefully showcasing it. I still enjoy the wisdom of Warren.
