I can’t I can’t I can’t, everything was just so freaking beautiful from the kiss to the montage( the scenes they choose for it god help us) and then it all turned to sh*t. They make us so happy and then crush us all over again. UGGH okay going to cry until next Wednesday

I was already in the mindset that they were not going to be successful when breaking the curse this early in the season, but I did not expect to be sobbing while having them, seeing them kiss for the first time, sharing the memories then losing them, Nancy almost dying in the process and Ace calling her by "Nance" when she collapsed and was dying on his arms. Noup, I did not except any of that but here we are.

ACE from pilot - to now has always been my favorite, and fact writers went "Ok this love story lets tease it all the way to the end" bastards xD I do hope these two are fully end game. sad its ending with Season 4. but i get it.

I know this is late but I am slightly confused. Why was nancy the one who collapsed? Is the death curse affecting her now or is it both?

This is yet to be explained. Maybe it switched to Nancy? Maybe Nancy had it all along and Tempy played her thinking it was Ace? Maybe it was both all along? I wouldn’t know.

Could be. Could also be that Tempy just played Nancy (once again!) and placed the death part on her instead of Ace. Or maybe on both of them, you'll never know, it's Tempy...

From what I understand, Bess gave the two of them ingredients to make an Antigen (protection spell/concoction) which they put on Ace. From then they had exactly 24hrs (i think) to do this ritual. Since Ace had the Antigen it wouldn't have an effect on him, thus putting it on Nancy, who at the time would be vulnerable to the curse, even though she wasn't the intended target.

Okay. I’m putting a lot of thought into this since I’ve been reading tweets about it. Here’s my theory. This is when they broke the curse. They just didn’t know how replacing the dark doll with the light doll would change it. The dark doll would’ve absorbed the curse (it would’ve left them completely). The light doll just purified the curse and rendered it null and void. What we think is a failure is actually the way the ritual should go when using a light doll. Why would a light doll absorb an EVIL curse? And the moths? They aren’t actually doing anything threatening. Basically, if no one freaked out about the ritual changing due to the kind of doll they used, it would’ve looked totally fine. I think the illusion of the curse not being broken comes from literally everyone’s reactions.

this is actually pretty good and valid, would make a lot of sense that the dolls would come back to the table considering the fact is a “twin” doll of positive and negative energy was thrown out so randomly and never brought up again, we’ll see but i like this. 👀
