AUSTIN, Texas - Nancy Grace is known for her passionate legal arguments and was one of several presenters at CrimeCon last weekend in Austin.
Crime survivors, investigators, prosecutors, reporters, defense attorneys, advocates and hundreds of others gathered for the annual three-day event that explores everything true crime. I presented about DeOrr Kunz, an Idaho Falls toddler missing since 2015.
Grace hosted ‘Nancy Grace’ for 11 years on HLN and Court TV’s ‘Closing Arguments’ from 1996 to 2007. The former prosecutor has written several books and currently hosts a daily podcast on CrimeOnline.com called ‘Crime Stories with Nancy Grace.’
She sat down with me and explained why she’s so passionate about her work, what makes crime stories so interesting and if she missing prosecuting cases in the courtroom.
Watch our interview in the video player above. You can follow Grace on her Facebook page here.

She speaks what she thinks is the truth, and acts as judge and jury often making it impossible for someone to get a fair trial. She decides if someone is guilty then goes on the attack on speculations, rumors and lies. And it taints the minds of the public.

I’m a diehard Nancy Grace admirer - the first time I saw her on TV was early 1990’s. One of the first CourtTV televised trials where she prosecuted a man for setting his house on fire and murdered his wife. Nancy was relentless with the forensic evidence and pummeled the dirtbag to conviction and rightly so. I was inspired by her to become a legal professional. Thanks again Nancy ⚖️

I am going to be honest.... at first I did not like Nancy Grace. She was a Loud obnoxious opinionated Lawyer. Also rude & full of herself. I would not listen to anything she had to say. But one day I stopped and listen to her talk about the Lori Vallow Case. She was so companionate about Tylee & JJ. I was hooked, I know listen to all her KZfaq videos. She is a Awesome Reporter & Lawyer. If I ever needed a Lawyer I would definitely want Nancy Grace on my side. Love You Nancy Grace❤️❤️❤️ Nate, another Awesome interview. My Grandfathers, uncles, brothers, daddy were High Priests and my Father-in-Luv is one and you would be hard pressed to find any kinder, gentler and caring men, who find any form of abuse to women and/or children horrific. I have been a member of the Mormon Church my entire life, I am in my 60’s, and NEVER have any children of people I have known gone missing or died suddenly. @@galaxyglitterlatte4664 No it was his mamaw's money. I believe she was critically ill and the money was going to be used for a lung transplant. Instead they used the money to try to bail Scotty out of trouble and responsibilty.

@@kirknitz3794 Don't ever post bail for your kids. If they got into trouble, it's their own fault. Quit blaming yourself because your kid is a jerk.

@@cymbolichuman433 hmmm thats a really hard one. bec on one hand its your child and who doesnt support their children? then if they did a terrible crime they should sit. i think there is a balance. help your child but support them emotionally they should have someone who visits them in jail. or whatever crime and punishment.

Great story, Nancy. Humble beginnings to greatness. Thank you, Nate. I will never forget when you were circling Chad's property in the helicopter. That was "True" crime. I will never forget Tylee and JJ. I love them so much.
