That is great to hear from Nancy. Nancy tells it like it is, I respect that! George was the same way, always promoting traditional country. I will definitely purchase Nancy’s book for I know it will be 100% accurate.Keep speaking the gospel and God Bless you!

Can’t wait for her book! I got to visit with her at George’s grave in 2019. She is a wonderful Christian woman and so humble and such a sweetheart . Loved and miss George and love Nancy . We had several pictures taken sitting on George’s monument . I have our picture on my wall. I would love to see her again just to chat❤❤

I wish someone would have asked Nancy what her life was like From the point she married George to 1999? If I remember correctly he stopped the drugs but still drank on and off and was difficult to live with.

I love this interview and can’t wait to get this book! My second husband was a handful because of prescription meds given after his son was murdered. So many rehabs and years and worry over my kids. But ai knew he was a good man and God gave me signs that it would be ok . Now we will be married 37 years in September . In his sober years and accepting Christ, he has been my hero and loved me and my kids and family and even my former husband’s family like crazy. Thank you for this Nancy

I’m very glad to see Nancy Jones. To me she is a hero. To this day everyone still connects Tammy with George. Yes they were married had a child and made music. But Nancy is the one that Stood By Her Man. I hope Nancy knows she is loved and admired. ❤

Nancy is a martyr and I think she married Jones with the determination to show she could straighten Jones out, and set out to prove it. They had a good marriage with respect for each other, but, I believe Jones one true love of his life was Tammy Wynette. He loved Nancy, loved and respected her for everything she did for him. They settled into a good life and marriage for thirty years.

What worries me is that there's women who are married to drunks and druggie they think they can fx. Nancy didn't take his demons away, George did. One thing ALANon says is, who has that kind of power? and they stress how arrogant that is. Nancy was addicted to rhe addict. "I had to get rid of them."demons) Hers is a very rare story. I'm not liking her being negative about others in his family before her. Leave that alone. I also feel it's too dangerous for women. to stay in any relationship if a man hits. I don't care what sweet side he has sober.

we all want to think they still loved each other. I don’t think they did. George was in love with Nancy and very happy with his life with her. I don’t think Tammy love d Richie, she married too soon a couple of times and it wasn’t for love.

Oh my God!!! There is a book coming out about the fourth wife of George Jones. The Movie George and Tammy is not a bunch of lies. I played a part on the movie and so did my husband. We were both played by a Professional actor ( Walton Goggins) and actress ( kate Artington,) the wife of Michael Shannon. Michael Shannon Played George Jones and done a wonde rful job. Charlene, I would love to have you and Peanut visit my class next year and be interviewed. The students do research before, and we will preserve the interviews at The Center for Popular Music. I use interviews and excerpts from your book in class. It would be great to get your perspective. I'm especially interested in your friendship with George and Tammy and learning more about your sister, Linda. Please email me at: Odie.blackmon@mtsu.edu

I don’t believe much of this, why no mention of the adopted grandson, yet no relationship with his own sons. Her & Richey sound a lot alike. I believe George still loved Tammy, it was obvious the way he looked at her. The accident in 1999 was the defining moment for George, he said he made a deal with God to never smoke or drink again. Ultimately the alcoholic is the one that gets sober. I wonder what George would think about this, I can’t imagine George talking bad about Tammy.

@@SuzyQ1956I have the same question about no nention of his biological children. Plus she states she didn't watch past the first episode but calls all of it lies lies lies. I don't think Nancy is a bad person and she probably was a good wife to George but the complete estrangement of his children is not right. Especially considering that George's motto to people who upset you was "kill them with kindness." Both renditions are probably true. George probably minimized his sexual energy with Tammy on stage because he didn't want to hurt Nancy. George and Tammy probably fought once they were off stage to manage their own feelings toward each other. When they perform together on stage the attraction is alive. It's hard to deny!

I found on a reliable website. She always told they met on a blind date, according to this, not true. Why lie? 👇 Nancy Sepulvado met George Jones in 1981 while working as a nurse at rehabilitation centre where Jones was a patient. Nancy Sepulvado and George Jones went on an amazing adventure together after meeting at a treatment center.
@theresanault521910 ай бұрын
With all due respect if George told Nancy to kill them with kindness (enemies) than why are you not treating his biological children with kindness? Those children were severely neglected by George because of his addictions. They must have grown up feeling unloved by him. For that alone he owed them a debt of unconditional love not further estrangement. Something is not right about this .... Kill them with kindness Nancy and reconcile with them. They are still his children! Those little children he neglected are still within them and need healing.😢 Family dynamics can be very difficult. I have no issue with putting firm boundaries in place but complete estrangement is not ok.
