@Daphne Harvey you're right Daphne. Just like we all know how and why Herman Cain died...there were a lot of very ugly things said about the situation on Twitter by people I follow and agree with most of the time. I probably had something nasty to say about too when he was first diagnosed. But there really is no reason have 10,000 tweets (or more, IDK) stating the Mr Cain didn't wear a mask to the rally and he caused his own death. Unfortunately we know he was persuaded by politics to not protect himself and has paid the ultimate price. I guess his family and associates are fortunate that the news cycle will lose interest soon and Mr Cain can RIP.

Being Christlike is not waving the Bible in front of a closed church building, while your actions include cheating on your wife with prostitutes, lusting after teenage girls and groping unwilling women. Being Christlike is not having a love of money, a mouth speaking lies or denigrating women, disparaging the disabled, bullying, whining, self-pitying with poor morals and of weak character. Jesus told off those who cast stones at a woman. He humbly washed the feet of his disciples. He fed the poor. He spoke plainly. He was not a coward. He led by his own perfect example. Are we done here? Cause I read the Bible. There is nothing Christlike in the current administration. It is a shame that we still live in America with so many hatred people mr. Lewis have fight a good fight now he's gone to be with our Heavenly Father which all us will do one day if we love one another and respect one another and get hatred out of our heart and repent to the Lord Jesus Christ for the sins that we did to one another you can always be forgiven. I see some very disturbing comments this man is deceased it is a shame that people will fall to the lowest level I'm going to tell you story about a man named Billy Lee he was one of my patients I was a home care nurse Billy Lee was a white supremacist and he did not believe in God yes he has called me the n word but I still went and take care of Mr Billie Lee he had cancer but at that time the cancer was not bother him bad but he still could not walk and do the things that he wanted to do but I will get him up shower him save him do all the things that are home care nurse to I was with him about three years I would pray for him that the cancer would not be so painful if he had family they did not come around to see about him so we took a lot of crap off of Billy Lee but we took care of him because that way I job and no matter what we showed him love but before Billy left this Earth the pain of the cancer was so bad Billy Lee he cried out and he called Jesus Christ name I would never forget that day and I told mr. Billy Lee to ask God to forgive you for everything you did and he did Billy Lee died the next day and I always believed in my heart that the Lord forgave him for all his sins so we got to stop being hatred because all of us don't get that chance like Billy Lee Williamson jmw

John Lewis, the civil rights leader and congressman who died on July 17, wrote this essay shortly before his death: Opinion | John Lewis: Together, You Can Redeem the Soul of Our Nation While my time here has now come to an end, I want you to know that in the last days and hours of my life you inspired me. You filled me with hope about the next chapter of the great American story when you used your power to make a difference in our society. Millions of people motivated simply by human compassion laid down the burdens of division. Around the country and the world you set aside race, class, age, language and nationality to demand respect for human dignity. That is why I had to visit Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington, though I was admitted to the hospital the following day. I just had to see and feel it for myself that, after many years of silent witness, the truth is still marching on. Emmett Till was my George Floyd. He was my Rayshard Brooks, Sandra Bland and Breonna Taylor. He was 14 when he was killed, and I was only 15 years old at the time. I will never ever forget the moment when it became so clear that he could easily have been me. In those days, fear constrained us like an imaginary prison, and troubling thoughts of potential brutality committed for no understandable reason were the bars. Though I was surrounded by two loving parents, plenty of brothers, sisters and cousins, their love could not protect me from the unholy oppression waiting just outside that family circle. Unchecked, unrestrained violence and government-sanctioned terror had the power to turn a simple stroll to the store for some Skittles or an innocent morning jog down a lonesome country road into a nightmare. If we are to survive as one unified nation, we must discover what so readily takes root in our hearts that could rob Mother Emanuel Church in South Carolina of her brightest and best, shoot unwitting concertgoers in Las Vegas and choke to death the hopes and dreams of a gifted violinist like Elijah McClain. Like so many young people today, I was searching for a way out, or some might say a way in, and then I heard the voice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on an old radio. He was talking about the philosophy and discipline of nonviolence. He said we are all complicit when we tolerate injustice. He said it is not enough to say it will get better by and by. He said each of us has a moral obligation to stand up, speak up and speak out. When you see something that is not right, you must say something. You must do something. Democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part to help build what we called the Beloved Community, a nation and world society at peace with itself. Ordinary people with extraordinary vision can redeem the soul of America by getting in what I call good trouble, necessary trouble. Voting and participating in the democratic process are key. The vote is the most powerful nonviolent change agent you have in a democratic society. You must use it because it is not guaranteed. You can lose it. You must also study and learn the lessons of history because humanity has been involved in this soul-wrenching, existential struggle for a very long time. People on every continent have stood in your shoes, through decades and centuries before you. The truth does not change, and that is why the answers worked out long ago can help you find solutions to the challenges of our time. Continue to build union between movements stretching across the globe because we must put away our willingness to profit from the exploitation of others. Though I may not be here with you, I urge you to answer the highest calling of your heart and stand up for what you truly believe. In my life I have done all I can to demonstrate that the way of peace, the way of love and nonviolence is the more excellent way. Now it is your turn to let freedom ring. When historians pick up their pens to write the story of the 21st century, let them say that it was your generation who laid down the heavy burdens of hate at last and that peace finally triumphed over violence, aggression and war. So I say to you, walk with the wind, brothers and sisters, and let the spirit of peace and the power of everlasting love be your guide. John Lewis, the civil rights leader and congressman who died on July 17, wrote this essay shortly before his death.

This was the same church where Dr. King used to go to but the Almighty Creator saved him and took him before the age of 41, the age of responsibility therefore, he did not fall into Idol Worshiping a fake name Jesus which, you would never find this man-made name in the original Bible in Aramaic language nor in the Arabic Quran. That was why the Almighty Creator kicked out all of those 4200 fake and false religions all over the world from their places of Idol Worship by this pandemic because of their illegitimate religious practices. The man you are praising did not make it at the Almighty Creator because, he nullified all of his works by falling into Idol Worship which is the only unforgivable sin. That was a sad news.

@@wahyuindrasto8307 he was taught about civil disobedience by the Rev. James Lawson, who was a leading theoretician and tactician of nonviolence within the Civil Rights Movement (per Wikipedia: in the 50's he went as a Methodist missionary to Nagpur, India, where he studied satyagraha, a form of nonviolence resistance developed by Mohandas Gandhi and his followers). He was actually there at the funeral.

Tina Taylor247 I respect that John Lewis made a stand for Civil Rights...HE earns respect for that. He was quite hateful and losing it the past few years but he was old and not thinking clearly. His grandstanding was awkward. But Nancy? She’s just a career politician living large off the taxpayer for salary, pension and then her greedy kickbacks. She gets no respect from me.
