Elephants are the most intelligent of the animal kingdom. They have an exceptional memory , coming from a country (Sri Lanka ) where Elephant-Human relationship is very strong and extended for hundreds of years. I know the personally , my grandfather had 2 elephants ( brought up from child hood) to pull logs from the river. They could recognize me and all 4 of my brothers separately and did tolerate lots of harassing from us. The interesting thing is once they get to know you , they become very friendly and never get crossed with you , UNLIKE HUMANS!

Not to be nasty, however it is my sincere dream that your dream is not necessary anymore in the nearest future possible, because there are no more orphans due to poaching, habitat loss, bush meat, human wildlife conflict, or any other harm humans tend to inflict on wildlife. I hope you understand what I am aiming for🤞🏼🤝🐘

Indomitable T I understand where are you coming from completely. I’m an animal activist and I have LOVED elephants ever since I saw the original DUMBO movie as child. It is still a dream of mine to touch an elephant one day or maybe even volunteer at an elephant sanctuary.

Carasforever. Well, in current circumstances sanctuaries are necessary and so are volunteers, so given that, go for it❣️
