Mostly just streamer brain. Also they didn't anticipate this journey to be nearly as long or as chaotic as it was, so neither of them prepared empty ender chests beforehand or brought one along. At some point during these streams I think it was even discussed that they could try to make one (Pomu has an Ender Pearl in one of those chests) but they decided not to.

These streams were really great... and the finale really takes the cake for what is probably my favorite Niji EN stream to date and probably will be for a long time. It genuinely felt like a whole movie series with just Pomu and Selen (and Uki sometimes as well)

Selen's "daimons" bit reminds me of two other diamonds moments from other KZfaqrs. 1. Grian and Mumbo trying to out-do eachother with hiding their secret stashes of diamonds "over here!". 2. Daithi De Nogla hording every single diamond in the little adventure he had with Terroriser.
