The prize they are talking about is incredibly famous prize in Japan - it's awarded for literary works though. So Hakase wants to get a prize that is awarded for outstanding work of literature. Don't ask me why.

Second half of the Season got bigger budget. Also it's more cohesive story. Not that it doesn't have random elements.

To be fair it’s been pretty balanced throughout but it is weird how sometimes it would want to follow a plot and then it would decide to just do jokes but in here for it
