I find myself doing the same things with character personalities instead of dialogue. I’m a *very* people pleaser, let others do their thing and go with the flow type person and instead of letting my characters personalities shine through they end up with this “whatever” attitude. So draft 2 ends up being a lot of switching around of actions and temperament to actually match the character 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also, I’m not so much doing NaNoWriMo, but I do post writing videos every once in a while!😊

I've been doing weekly vlogs (Tuesdays) and other videos for NaNo but didn't get consistent about it until Camp in July this year. Your progress is so exciting and inspiring!!

I like the idea of asking for other creator's vlogs. I always need more! Great job on your forward progress. I am the same with talking in real life, I hate small talk. I'm an introvert so my head is already full of too many thoughts, small talk takes away from the fun stuff I'm thinking of. If you want to talk about something interesting to me, like writing, I'll talk your ear off. I'm weird :) Love your nano series!

I’m doing Nano this year and the forums just imploded. Is this common? Seems like the community is loosing its mind at the moment. Everything is locked and can’t reply to anything. On the bright side, just crossed 30k and as a whole this has been a blessing and really helped me get back into the writing groove.

Honestly, I've barely used the NaNo website since they updated it years ago. It seems like my account is consistently bugged for some reason. 😩 That being said, I'm not surprised something went wrong with the forums, lol!

@@NataliaLeigh Actually it’s become something rather serious now. The FBI is involved and the forums are indefinitely shut down. I don’t know what it means for the rest of Nano, but my word counts are still registering updates when I add them. There are whispers of sponsors pulling out due to the incredibly bad light this is casting on the organization. Hopefully it’s felt with and will still continue!
