Public schools should offer native American language classes. Imagine knowing Apache or Navajo or Cherokee and the pride that comes with knowing an American original.

I’ve never heard Apache spoken before. I can hear that it’s related to Navajo. I didn’t expect it to sound so beautiful. Amazing! Thank you for sharing your language with us. Given the history of the US and it’s genocidal policies against the Indigenous peoples of North America, the fact that we have been given the privilege and gift of hearing this is an amazing feat of perseverance in and of itself. Thank you.

It is wonderful to hear such a beautiful native language, and it pleases me greatly that it is kept alive. It challenges me to seek what others I have never heard. With the variances that may come from the '600 Nations' that I have heard of, my journey may be very long, but looked forward to, respectfully.

I have a small percentage of apache blood, although when i see old pictures of pure apache i see my sharp features in many of their faces and i tan like all get out lol. Im 57 yrs old and decided i want to learn more about it. I looked up the language and read words but never heard it spoken. Its actually pleasing to the ear, unlike many ancient languages such as those in asia and africa that sound terrible to my ears.

We were once with the Navajo long ago, but the tribe split up. There is some words of navajo that may seem to be missing a root on why the word is said, or used. It is because it was originally from apache language.
