One scandal you missed. Naomi’s former mentoree in her show The Face season 1, a Chinese model Zilin Luo, dated one of her ex-boyfriends. Naomi contacted the girl’s modelling agencies and made them drop her. She singlehandedly cancelled Zilin from the fashion industry. Surely, the girl didn’t know the girl code and betrayed Naomi. But this also proves that she definitely would and could do whatever it took to destroy Tyra’s career back then 😅

There is something you do not mention abut Casablancas: there are suspicions which say he sexually abused models after his parties. I am not the lawyer of Naomi Campbell, but we have to see the fact that she was Fifteen when she started modeling and due to her success, she had the work load of a 40-year-old manager when she was Eighteen or Twenty, touring around the world for shows, campaigns and shootings. It is well-known that a fashion show starts late, so the models get out later than planned, especially the Tops. I think, having learned this in teenage years with the experience of "They will wait for me, because I am the star" leads to habits. The stress leads to drug abuse for you were told, you'd never make it when you're above a certain age - so you work, work, work and finally loose your nerves, you are burned out. Naomi Campbell lead an adult life in an adult world when she was a teenager.

Casablancas had a relationship with another big supermodel of the time, Stephanie Seymour, when she was only 16. She was young, stunning and impressionable, and he took advantage of all of that. Fun fact, Naomi was Stephanie's maid of honor when she got married years later (with another man), and she was also the godmother of Harry, Stephanie's third child, who unfortunately died of a prescription drugs overdose a couple of years ago

she has no reason to double down to people who are not going to appreciate her hard work and undoubted influence . The designers who she models for get popular when big models like her are wearing their clothes. Why would she “humble” herself to be used in a way less appreciated than she deserves. Good for her. Plus I thought everyone knew that persuasion is a way of speaking and the media isn’t always true! It almost never is !

Also, it sounded like that police officer made all that up about Naomi cleaning shit. You bet she would ever do that! Had she done it outside on the streets in front of everyone we would have believed him, but nah I'm pretty sure nobody believes she cleaned anything at all.
