So much respect for both players. What a treat they gave the audience. So beautiful to see Ms Osaka in happier times. I hope Ms Osaka will be able to heal up, take care, and if she feels strong enough, grant Australia the pleasure of her presence at the AO in 2022.

Naomi was so strong mentally during this final, many players would have totally collapsed after losing the 2nd set/after missing 3 match points in a row, but she hung in there and managed to calm down to win this decider. Great champion.

Yeah I was thinking that also. I play tennis and I’ve had matches similar to this where you are very close to winning but then lose the opportunity and it’s so so tough to recover, and I’m only playing at my local club! Nothing compared to a grand slam final.

Visiting after Naomi's mental health saga, I can clearly see and hear the bias both in the camera angles and the commentator. This young lady's mental health has been affected by racism. She is representing a country that is racist against half cast and playing a country club sport that represents certain breed.

Congrats to Osaka on her 2nd Australian Open title! 2 years ago it would take her around 5 GAMES to regain composure (5-5 on the 2nd set to lose it 7-5 and then the following 3 games to be 2-1 in the 3rd set).... In the last SF against Serena, it only took her 1 game to re-focus on her game. You should be so proud of yourself Naomi!!

I know what you mean. I like Naomi a lot but I was hoping that Petra could've won this one to add to her 2 Wimbledon crowns. I think Petra will have another chance. Hopefully she won't be playing Osaka. Petra has the game to dominate but I feel that it's her tactics along with mental lapses that is letting her down.

Yes yah have to admire a very good player like Naomi Osaka that ad a lot to the game of tennis, Not to take away anything from any one else, but Serena Williams and vinous Williams will always be my favourite players and before Serena it was Martina Navratilova she was a excellent player in her time, there is a lot of final that Serena lose that she should have won, she went in some of the final with out a positive strategy, Three things that you need in tennis you have to be consistent and you have to have a good technique and you have to have a solid strategy, and holding on to your serve is key, when a player break your serve it make the game a lot harder for you.

This was pretty bad for Osaka, 3 championships points, she choked and gave it away. It wasn't because Petra was playing good, she had so many unforced errors. But she did win, all is good.

Osaka, just thank God, praise Him, obey Him, and He will continue to make a winner of you. Remember! No one does anything, by themselves. You might have hit the ball, but God gave you the strength. 👈🙏❤️😎

@@forgetmenot7463 ik I was just saying that Japanese isn’t a race. So it would be more accurate to say Haitian Japanese than black Japanese if that makes sense.
