Looks like Inoue knows that Tapales can't hurt him, so he is standing right in front of Tapales to make him throw punch. Inoue looks slow and different in this fight because he's not scare to trade & counter. He doesn't want another Pual Butler, so he is baiting by not moving or jumping around.

Tapales is good bnut slow. He needs to develop speed. And he's not punching often. Doesnt move his head. He should try to copy Pacquiao;s head and body movements. Tapales simply stands i front of Inooue and is not even punching much.

🧐At 39 seconds into the 2nd Rd. Inoue lands a stiff jab flush on the ear of Tapales which obviously led to Tapales going down..he otherwise would not have been off balance enough to have gone down🤷.

No, it was Inoue stepping on his foot that made him stumble and go down.

Nah I watched that back several times, Inoue does land a jab on Tapales but it clearly doesn't hurt him. While he was throwing the jab Inoue stepped forward and accidentally stepped on Tapales's foot which is why he was off balance. Tapales's head didn't snap back and he didn't fully fall, quickly catching himself and going right back to the fight. The ref was 100% right, that was a slip.
